Top Ten NFL Players Most Likely to Win MVP for the 2018-2019 Season

Tom Brady was 2017's NFL MVP. Before him were Matt Ryan, Cam Newton, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Adrian Peterson, etc. We have plenty of talented NFL players currently, but only one can win the prestigious MVP award. Who will it be? We're looking at the top ten NFL players most likely to win MVP for the 2018-2019 season.
The voting period for this list has ended.

The Top Ten

Drew Brees Drew Christopher Brees is an American football quarterback for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League. He is the only player to have back to back to back 5,000 yards in three seasons straight. Brees also has the all time best completion percentage with 66.95%.

In what could be his final season, going out with an MVP would be the way to retire. With Brees set to break Peyton Manning and Brett Favre's passing records in 2018, will that be enough for an MVP award?

He still has a year left on his 2 year 50 million dollar contract So...

I believe it would be a nice send off if Brees just exploded and wins MVP and leads his team to the super bowl.

He has incredible stats and is bringing his team to a 12-2 season and a sure playoffs chance.

The best QB who have never won an MVP Award. He should win MVP this season.

Aaron Rodgers Aaron Charles Rodgers is an American football quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.

Last time Rodgers went down with a broken collarbone, he won MVP the next year. That may be wishful thinking, but he's still in his prime. Maybe he can rake in a third MVP award, just like Tom Brady did in 2017.

Well, look at how well he is doing now. He currently has a team at 5-8-1, around 20th in the NFL currently. If he were most likely, he would be able to bring his team to win a few more games.

Coming off of an injury hungry for another ring, and with new piece Jimmy Graham to work with. It's coming home lads

I’m going with Rodgers because he is still in his prime and could very well have a big year after his injury put him on the sidelines last year

Patrick Mahomes II

Don't think anyone saw this coming. 50 TDs and 5000 yards passing in his first full season in the league. Either him or Brees will take home the award.

How can anyone argue with his accomplishments, win the coin toss and they are in Super Bowl!

Was my first nfl season I've watched and he caught my heart first

Gifted athlete. Makes amazing things happen.

Carson Wentz Carson Wentz is an American football quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He played college football at North Dakota State University. He was drafted by the Eagles with the second overall pick of the 2016 NFL draft, becoming the highest drafted quarterback from an ...read more.

He was 2017's surefire MVP before he tore his ACL. His play may slack off a bit this year due to his ACL injury, but I still expect MVP numbers from Wentz.

Russell Wilson Russell Carrington Wilson is an American football quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League.

He's cemented himself as a top five quarterback in the NFL. Heck, he accounted for 100% of his team's points last year. I kid you not. With the Seahawks spiraling into the black abyss, Wilson could be their one shining light in 2018.

It's been postponed for several years already, SOMEONE GET THIS MAN AN MVP!

Antonio Brown Antonio Brown is an American football wide receiver and punt returner for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He is often regarded as one of the best Wide Receivers in today's game in the NFL. Brown was selected 195th overall to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round. ...read more.

Brown honestly would've won it last season if it hadn't been for injuries late into the season that forced him to miss a few games. Expect the all-pro to produce more in 2018 and contend for MVP.

Philip Rivers Philip Michael Rivers is an American football quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League. Rivers was drafted fourth overall by the New York Giants in the 2004 NFL Draft before being traded to the San Diego Chargers for Eli Manning that same night.

The Chargers are set for a huge season, and Rivers will lead them once again. Optimism is high in Los Angeles, but they'll need a good quarterback. If Rivers plays like he did during the last half of last season, expect big things from him. Possibly an MVP.

That picture of him never fails to crack me up.

Ezekiel Elliott Ezekiel Elijah Elliott is an American football running back for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. He played college football at Ohio State, where he earned second-team All-America honors in 2015.

There's a chance. He missed six games last season, but still had above-average numbers. He could be battling Todd Gurley for the title of best running back in the league in 2018.

I love the Dallas cowboys

Elliott ANIELATED old Gurley, under rookie Barkley

Todd Gurley Todd Gurley II is an American football running back for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League.

Gurley was in the running last year, but didn't win. He got offensive player of the year, which is still quite an achievement. Can Gurley hit the 2,000+ scrimmage yards barrier again in 2018? If so, he really could be crowned the NFL's best.

He can break any play for the end zone...

Tom Brady Thomas Edward Patrick Brady, Jr., is an American football quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. Brady is known for being the only quarterback in history to win 6 Super Bowls, and is often considered one of the best quarterbacks of all time. Brady is also frequently ...read more.

Retirement is on the horizon, and like Brees, it would be nice for Brady to go out with a fourth MVP in his pocket. But can he still produce at age 41?

How is he 9 when he won last year lel

The Contenders

Von Miller Vonnie B'Vsean Miller Jr. is an American football outside linebacker for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League.

Because I said so

This will be tough. A defensive player hasn’t won an MVP award since 1986 (Lawrence Taylor). It’ll be difficult for Miller to really pull it off.

Derek Carr Derek Dallas Carr is an American football quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League.

He could've won it in 2016. That is, if he hadn't broken his leg. His production fell of a cliff in 2017, part of a 6-10 Raiders team. Perhaps he can revert back to 2016 form, and win that elusive MVP award.

Jalen Ramsey Jalen Lattrel Ramsey is an American football cornerback for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. He played college football at Florida State and was drafted by the Jaguars fifth overall in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Andrew Luck Andrew Austen Luck is a former American football quarterback who played his entire career for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League.

He's lead the colts to winning the last 7/8 games this season!

Julio Jones Quintorris Lopez "Julio" Jones is a current wide receiver who plays for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. Jones was selected sixth overall in 2011 to the Atlanta Falcons, and since made it to one Super Bowl.
Deandre Hopkins DeAndre Rashaun Hopkins, also known as "Nuk," is an American football wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. Hopkins was drafted 27th overall to the Houston Texans in 2013.

Highlight reel

Taysom Hill
Luke Kuechly Luke August Kuechly is a former American football linebacker. He played his entire career for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League.

He’s a top 5 linebacker and he’s a young talent so I can’t wait to see him in the future

Harrison Smith Harrison Smith is an American football safety for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League.
Aaron Donald Aaron Charles Donald is an American football defensive tackle for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League.
Jordan Howard
