Top Ten Best NFL Quarterbacks Drafted in the 2010s

For a decade, we saw some of the NFL's best quarterbacks come onto the scene. Here, we are looking at the top ten best NFL quarterbacks drafted in the 2010s.
The Top Ten
1 Russell Wilson Russell Carrington Wilson is an American football quarterback for the Denver Broncos, and formerly for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League.

Without a doubt, Wilson is the best quarterback drafted in the 2010s. The Seahawks drafted him in 2012, and he went on to make 8 Pro Bowls and win the Super Bowl in 2013, having gone there twice. He was a contributing factor in making Seattle a formidable force in the NFC for almost the whole decade, and has proven himself as one of the NFL's most talented passers.

2 Patrick Mahomes Patrick Lavon Mahomes II (born September 17, 1995) is an American football player who is currently a quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League.

In the 2023-2024 year only Kelcie can catch the ball. A though is babied by the refs is is way better then all QB's drafted in the 2010's

Even though he has only started for two seasons, Mahomes is already among the best quarterbacks drafted in the 2010s. In just two seasons as the starter, he has made two Pro Bowls, won NFL MVP in 2018, and won the Super Bowl, being named the game's MVP. He's also the NFL's best quarterback right now in my opinion. He is just so hard to stop, and is becoming an NFL great very fast.

3 Cam Newton Cameron Jerrell Newton is an American football quarterback for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. He had previously played with the Carolina Panthers from 2011 to 2019, and for the New England Patriots in 2020. In November 2021, he signed with his old team, the Carolina Panthers.

Newton was a staple of the Panthers for almost a whole decade, being drafted first overall in 2011. He has made three Pro Bowls and won NFL MVP in 2015, also getting the Panthers to 15-1 and a Super Bowl appearance that year. He is now looking for a new team, and while prone to some injuries, he is still relatively young.

4 Andrew Luck Andrew Austen Luck is a former American football quarterback who played his entire career for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League.

Luck, who retired early, was a force in his time in the NFL. The first overall pick in 2012, he replaced Peyton Manning in a big and great way, leading the Colts to success early on. It's unfortunate that injuries took a toll on him over the years, and forced him to announce his retirement shortly before the 2019 season.

5 Lamar Jackson

Jackson rallied the Ravens to the playoffs in 2018 after a slow start, then went on to lead them to a 14-2 record in 2019 and winning NFL MVP the same year. Jackson is young, but is already a top five quarterback in the NFL. He was the fifth quarterback drafted in 2018 somehow, but is already better than all of the quarterbacks taken ahead of him.

6 Kirk Cousins Kirk Cousins is an American football quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League.

Cousins, drafted a few rounds lower than former teammate and first round pick Robert Griffin III, ended up having a better career than him. Griffin III is currently the backup quarterback for the Ravens, while Cousins is now getting paid with the Vikings. He has made a Pro Bowl each with the Redskins and Vikings, and has been to the playoffs twice. Still young, Cousins has a lot of years left in the NFL currently.

7 Carson Wentz Carson Wentz is an American football quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League. He played college football at North Dakota State University. He was drafted by the Eagles with the second overall pick of the 2016 NFL draft, becoming the highest drafted quarterback from an... read more

Wentz has been a good quarterback for the Eagles since he was drafted in 2016. His breakout year came in 2017, and had he not torn his ACL late in the season, then he may have been named NFL MVP. His team did win the Super Bowl with Nick Foles leading them on a magical run, but they wouldn't have been in that position without Wentz. While injuries have hampered him over the last few seasons, Wentz is still a good quarterback with many years left in the league.

8 Dak Prescott Rayne Dakota "Dak" Prescott is an American football quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.

Prescott wasn't supposed to be the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, but he was thrust onto the scene after an injury to starter Tony Romo in 2016. Since then, Prescott has become among the NFL's best passers. Once he signs his new contract, the sky is the limit for him.

9 Deshaun Watson

During a solid rookie season in 2017, he tore his ACL. He then proceeded to get the Texans to the playoffs twice and become one of the NFL's best quarterbacks.

10 Andy Dalton Andrew Gregory Dalton is an American football quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.

While many may overlook Dalton, he has been a solid to above average quarterback for the Bengals his entire career. He has made three Pro Bowls and led some mediocre Bengals squads to decent seasons, and even the playoffs. He's an underrated quarterback, though his time in Cincinnati may be coming to an end soon.
