Top Ten Best NFL Teams of 2017-2018htoutlaws2012 With a much better look of the season these teams have done what they had to do once again to claim to the top, but who ends up winning the big one remains to be seen.
The Top Ten
Agreed. They do have that look to them. Not only the best record, but even Tomlin seems to be enjoying himself on the sideline this year. Maybe they know something everyone else does not. At the least, this is the most diverse offense and they are going to score some points - Ned964
There is no other team that while they have lost to one very bad team, Steelers to me have been the biggest spotlight team of the season. From being shown on primetime consecutively to whipping on every team from coming back in the end, Pittsburgh might be ready for ring #7. I mean Big Ben is literally ready for his 3rd, while Bell and Brown have stormed the field once again, and perhaps get there first ring this would be there quest to do that #terribletowel - htoutlaws2012
This team shocked the hell outta me in a good way I mean the offense puts up points, and that defense is good at stopping pretty much almost anybody could this finally be the year they win the super bowl in almost 4 decades since the last time Minnesota has been there, and come up short on 4 separate occasions. Case Keenum has been a step up from the mediocrity that is Sam Bradford, and the combo tandem of Murray and McKinnion are enough to make a team miss really bad tackling. Also Adam Thielen is playing at a Randy Moss type level, and Stefon Diggs makes just enough plays to make sure Minnesota moves on. As well as Kyle Rudolph getting more involved than the previous season where he was almost a ghost for the team. Coming into the season I knew that defense was going to be the strength, but man do they look balanced or what. - htoutlaws2012
I'm a Viking fan, but this may be a bit lofty place for them, at least right as of today. They should win at least 2 out of their last 3, and it looks as if that would lock up a first round bye, and that would be great, because I think they need a week off to heal a few nicks. We will see how they handle success now. I have no problem with the Carolina loss, Carolina out physicaled the Vikings, and with 3 starters lost on the O line, well I'm surprised they didn't get blown out. - Ned964
The Vikings look like the most complete team to me. They rank top 10 in almost every category so they have stats to back them up. They also haven’t had any real bad losses either. The only thing that is keeping me from picking them as a super bowl contender is the fact that the super bowl is in Minneapolis and no team has played the super bowl at home. - Randomator
The Patriots are the Patriots, we know they will make good game time adjustments, that Belichick will take away the one thing on offense the opponent loves, and that they will probably be close or ahead at the end. Still, I can't shake the feeling that they can be out physicaled, that you can lean on them. That's a big game between the Pats and Steelers obviously. - Ned964
New England is usually one of the easy picks to go to the superbowl, however they did show weakness in the beginning of the season by not having a defense show up. The offense is usually capable of putting points thanks to the G.O.A.T Tom Brady, but depending on the meeting against Pittsburgh that could be a team that may finally get over the hump while Tom Brady may not beat the madden curse, and come up short to a talented Steelers team this year. - htoutlaws2012
At this rate I like Carolina's chances to get maybe even the #2 seed if Philly does falter badly. Panthers are in the driving seat of taking the division despite getting swept by the Saints. While the offense is not that great the defense does a good job to put the pressure on opposing offenses not all of them, but most New Orleans being there kryptonite. Otherwise lookout this team has gotten to the superbowl before. - htoutlaws2012
Yeah, as for that #2 seed, it actually would benefit Carolina more to have the Vikings falter, having beat them head to head, and to be honest, I don't think that's totally unreasonable. I have to look at Carolina's schedule but I do know they will have a hard time getting that seed. Anyway, for the Vikes, I'd almost rather see the Eagles in the playoffs than Carolina or Seattle - Ned964
They've won ten games and lost four.
Philly has been very impressive this year, Carson Wentz has played out of his mind he looked be reaching even bigger heights, and unfortunately his done for the season which sucks, and while Nick Foles had that one good year that's gonna be hard to top what Wentz has done for that offense. They have a lot of talent, but I pushed them low because Nick Foles is ability had been rusty for about 4 years now. Now he'll have the best line in football, but will he make those big plays? Meanwhile the MVP for now looks to be Philly's defense has shut down most of the opponents this season led by Jim Schwartz. They have the talent, but they'll come up short I'm sorry. - htoutlaws2012
They have been impressive. Now can Foles keep that dynamic offense rolling? - Ned964
ONLY THE BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD WON SUPER BOWL 53 WITH COREY CLEMENTS CATCH AND THE FUMBLE TOM BRADY GOT THEY WON THERE FIRST SUPER BOWL AND THERE NOT STOPING THEY'RE PHILIDEPHIA GOT THE GAME ON!
I really like this team, and with all that talent, and depth on defense, who knows? They could shock everyone - Ned964
I never would of thought this Jags team led by Bortles would look this good, but like Russell Wilson over the years Bortles for most of the season was literally carried by the defense, and man has that defense look special this year. The signings, and draft picks now really living up to the potential now culminate onward to the playoffs. The Jags are definitely a dark horse in the playoffs. Many people will immediately say the Steelers, and Patriots, but if there's one team that's gonna make it extremely difficult it will be Jacksonville to score against coming from the #1 defense in all of football. #defensewinschampionships - htoutlaws2012
This team looked to be down south like everyone was predicting, but wow did they turn it around once they beat the lowly Giants that winning streak has really shown the capabilities this team can be. Rivers would like to leave with a ring, and even in his late 30's he can still go he proved that when Keenan Allen came back strong as the duo was destroying for weeks. One thing many don't give credit is that defense has been greatly underrated Led by Melvin Ingram. Great group from the front, and secondary has really outdone itself with Tre Boston becoming a stud. - htoutlaws2012
Everyone thought they would suck but they proved people wrong
I never would of guessed how good the Rams would be in year one of McVay, and man did Jared Goff really turn around from his terrible rookie year, not did he do so Todd Gurley has looked like he was when he first started out. Gurley has been one of the best dual threats in the league next to Le'veon Bell. Goff has some very decent pieces around him to work well to get a ton of points at first I thought its just the Colts, but overtime the Rams really look like an offensive juggernaut that defense has been disappointing to me for one led by Wade Phillips who led the 2015 Broncos to the super bowl. It may take time for them to gell, but the one thing that will kill this team is the plays on defense because they did lose big guys over the years, and now it shows. - htoutlaws2012
Started off amazing the 1st half now falls flat in the 2nd half, and are almost away from giving the division to the Chargers who have resurfaced from a disastrous 0-4 start that is impressive. Chiefs do have an offense, but there defense is simply terrible I mean teams can literally outgun them like the Cowboys, like the Raiders the 1st meeting, like the Jets. Chiefs have one of the worst passing defenses in the league. Alex Smith has literally got to be a monster now if he wants to finally be the man he was the first 8 weeks. - htoutlaws2012
Starting off with a team that's very dangerous on the running game with the dynamic tandem of Mark Ingram and rookie sensation Alvin Kamara, one surprising thing this team did right was having a defense improved greatly led by long time Saint Cameron Jordan, another guy I was very impressed with is Marshon Lattimore their first round pick who turned into stud since the start of the season. With less weapons for Drew Brees to toss away with he can do no wrong well expect losing good Tight Ends over the years. - htoutlaws2012
My mom loves this team. I think they’re kinda good, too!
They lost to the cardinals packers are better luis sucks
Uhh, they made the playoffs and won in the divisional, how are they #16? - JesseStump
