NFL Teams Most Likely to Miss the Playoffs in 2018

When you think of this concept, the Cleveland Browns first come to mind. It’s where player’s careers go to die. But it’s not just the Browns that most likely won’t make the playoffs. Here, we’re looking at the NFL teams most likely to miss the playoffs in 2018.
The voting period for this list has ended.
The Top Ten
1 Indianapolis Colts The Indianapolis Colts are an American football team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Colts compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference South division.

Surprised to see the Colts over the Browns? Don’t be. Andrew Luck may be throwing a little again, but his shoulder is still in rough shape. Also to note, the Browns have the better quarterback situation than the Colts. Never thought I’d say that. They have a healthy Tyrod Taylor and a rookie in Baker Mayfield. Indianapolis has a hurt starting quarterback and a decent at best backup in Jacoby Brissett. Not to mention there’s little depth at receiver behind T.Y. Hilton, a backfield without a longtime veteran named Frank Gore, and an unknown defense. It’ll be a couple of years before the Colts get back on track.

2 Arizona Cardinals The Arizona Cardinals are a professional American football franchise based in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Arizona should start up the tank. Most of their players are around 30 and have very little left.Seriously Sam Bradford will probably be out by week 6. Larry Fitzgerald is coming down to the end of the wire and yeah basically one injury will throw this team off completely. The smart move would be to win hardly any games to get the #1 overall pick

Here are Arizona’s quarterbacks. Two journeymen, and an inexperienced rookie. That’s just one downside. Larry Fitzgerald is getting up there in age, and after he retires, what receivers will they have. They’ll rely too heavily on David Johnson, who is coming off of a season on injured reserve. The only bright spot is their defense, who is being headed by Patrick Peterson and other quality players. Still, it won’t be enough for them to revert back to 2015 form.

3 Cleveland Browns The Cleveland Browns are a professional American football team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Browns compete in the National Football League as a member team of the American Football Conference North division. The Cleveland Browns are one of the four teams to have never been to a Super Bowl, and one of two teams to go 0-16.

As the worst team in the NFL for two whole years straight the browns for 2016 have a 1-15 record. As they head into 2017 as the teams get better Cleveland Browns the only team that has no improved as they have a 0-16 record. I put them in this spot for a reason because they will miss the playoffs almost every year by a lot. In the 2018 season as they have a 2-3-1 record as they won to the Jets,Ravens, and tied with the very good champianchip team the Pittsburg Steelers. They have improved by drafting Chubb from Georgia, and drafting Baker Mayfield. This team will improve and one day be the beat football team in NFL history

Here they are. They oddly selected Baker Mayfield with the first pick and passed on Bradley Chubb. It’s already shaping up to be another bottom line season in Cleveland. Their receiving corps is a positive, as they’ve got Josh Gordon, Jarvis Landry, and Corey Coleman. Their defense looks a bit better, but it still needs improvement. Despite some positives, the Browns will not make the playoffs in 2018.

THE CLEVELAND CLOWNS!

Just get this to number one. We all know they’re probably going to go 0-16 again. Baker Mayfield might get arrested (again) and suspended. They got nothing from the Draft, but did get decent free agents. But, I don’t see them even getting CLOSE to the Super Bowl with all the injuries and drugs. I have lost all hopes in the Browns at this point

1 win in 2 years. How bad can you get? They will not jump from 1-32 to playoff teams.

4 New York Jets The New York Jets are a professional American football team located in the New York metropolitan area.

They’re even worse off than the Browns. Plenty of quarterbacks, but will they put up points and win games? Their receiving corps is close to garbage, near no depth at running back after Matt Forte’s retirement, a depleted defensive line, and a blank defensive backfield with a bright light in Jamal Adams. Did I mention they’re in a division with the Patriots? They will not make the playoffs.

Looking at there schedule the only winnable games I see are the Dolphins, Browns,Colts and Bears. Outside of that nothing real winnable. This team doesn’t have much but what they do have isn’t enough

5 Miami Dolphins The Miami Dolphins are a professional American football franchise located in the Miami metropolitan area.

Does anyone think the Dolphins will make the playoffs this year? For you seldom few, let me discuss something. Miami has lost three key players who contributed to their 2016 playoff season. Jarvis Landry, whom they traded to the Browns. Ndamukong Suh, who despite being labeled a dirty player, stayed consistent with the Dolphins. Now he’s lining up with Aaron Donald in Los Angeles. Then there’s pro bowl center Mike Pouncey, who found his way to the other Los Angeles team. Bottom line, it’ll be an upward climb to the playoffs for the Dolphins.

6 Buffalo Bills The Buffalo Bills are a professional American football team based in the Buffalo–Niagara Falls metropolitan area that competes in the National Football League. Buffalo Bills had the longest playoff drought of any team which came to an end in 2017.

They don’t have a good QB unless Allen plays good. The offensive side has some concerns however the defense is decent so maybe they can get the edge in enough games to go to the playoffs in back to back years

7 Cincinnati Bengals The Cincinnati Bengals are a professional American football franchise based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Bengals currently compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference North division.

Another team trying to get back to its 2015 form. Enter Marvin Lewis. He’s brought the Bengals to the playoffs seven times, and he’s lost all those games. His firing is long overdue, and yet they gave him an extension after the 2017 season. Their quarterback is decent, they have a good group of receivers, their running back room is stable, and their defense is fine. It’s their head coach that’s holding them back. Sorry Cincinnati, he should’ve been gone years ago.

Thank god he's gone!

Rarley make any playoff games and rarley even make it to the playoffs. I wont say there that bad of a football tam but in order for them to make it to the plaoffs they need to step up there game. There are lots of good teams in the NFL including the Patriots,Steelers,Eagles, and a lot more so it would be hard for them to make it too the playoffs.

8 Washington Redskins The Washington Commanders are a professional American football team based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. ...read more.
9 Dallas Cowboys The Dallas Cowboys are a professional American football team based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The Cowboys compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference East division.
10 New York Giants The New York Giants are a professional American football team located in the New York metropolitan area.
The Contenders
11 Tampa Bay Buccaneers The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a professional American football franchise based in Tampa, Florida. The Buccaneers currently compete in the National Football League as a member team of the National Football Conference South division.

I like what they’re doing on both sides of the ball, but it may be a couple more years before they are playoff ready. Their offense is constantly suffering injury after injury, which is affecting Tampa’s ability to win. But with a strong defensive line and a young quarterback, we may see them in the postseason in a few years. Just not this year.

12 Carolina Panthers The Carolina Panthers are a professional American football team based in Charlotte, North Carolina, that competes in the National Football League.

Offense is a big concern. And they are in a division with Atlanta and New Orleans. Playoffs? Not impossible but not likely

Okay okay I got it the panthers aren’t consistent but with cam newton it is likely they will get the playoffs

13 Chicago Bears The Chicago Bears are a professional American football team in Chicago, Illinois. The Bears compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference North division.

Yeah they did, but then The Doink King went to work.

Doink King=Cody Parkey

The chicago bears didn't make it to the playoffs

14 Denver Broncos The Denver Broncos are an American football team based in Denver, Colorado. The Broncos compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

I bleed orange and navy blue, but Vance Joseph, Case Keenum, and hell, even John Elway will make sure that this team will not make it. And guess what, they didn't!

Want to be like how they were when they won Super Bowl 50, but oh wait, look at that, they can't!

It all depends on Case Keenum. If he plays like he did in Minnesota they have a shot at winning a decent amount of games. The defense is mostly still intact so playoffs aren’t entirely out of the question

15 New England Patriots The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston region. New England Patriots are one of the few teams to have 5+ wins in the Super Bowl.

As much I as I would love to see the patriots not make to playoff the chances are low but know maybe the time has come

I doubt they miss the playoffs. Unless something happens to Tom Brady.

16 Kansas City Chiefs The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.
17 Oakland Raiders The Las Vegas Raiders are a professional American football franchise based in Las Vegas. The Raiders began playing in 1960 as a member club of the American Football League; they have been a member club of the National Football League since the 1970 AFL–NFL merger. In 2020, the Raiders relocated from Oakland, California to Las Vegas.
18 Baltimore Ravens The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team based in Baltimore, Maryland. The Ravens compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference North division.
19 Detroit Lions The Detroit Lions are a professional American football team based in Detroit, Michigan. The Lions compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference North division. ...read more.
