Top Ten NFL Teams Most Likely to Win Super Bowl 51
The Top Ten
Boom. They did it again 2 years later. Last time, their skills were put to the test against the Hawks on 2015. February 5 of 2017, they struck again with good offense and defense against the Falcons. That was when there was the first overtime ever held at a Super Bowl. The score was tied 28-28. Later, a touchdown was scored by quarterback Brady. Yup, New England Patriots earned their 5th championship out of the 9 games.
They should some weakness at the end of last year, so I think that they are not going to do as good as people think they will, but I see them balancing between the 2 and 3 seeds all year. Once they get to the playoffs I think they lose in the divisional playoffs to whoever they play from wildcard weekend. - ChickenKing
I think this is a good rank for the Pats. Dion Lewis is going to have a monster year.
That comeback against the Falcons is probably the greatest in their franchise history, even though I'm not a Pats fan. - reed99
I think they can do it if they get a good secondary player. They obviously have an offense that is capable of doing it, with arguably the best receiving core in the NFL, and same thing with Le'veon Bell at running back, and Ben Roethlisberger at quarterback. If they can stay healthy then I don't see any reason they couldn't do it, especially considering their schedule next year is fairly simple. They also have playoff experience, and young talent combined, and they seem like a team hungry for a title, so I think they've got the best chance of doing it. - ChickenKing
This team is my pick to win it all next year if that offense is 100% you can believe they are unstoppable. - htoutlaws2012
No there overrated they only get a good record at home because there refs are so bias on the road they lose
My Super Bowl 51 pick is Vikings vs. Chiefs.
Everyone thinks that the Packers are going to go to the super bowl every year, and someone should look at their team. They are decent, probably decent enough to grab the last spot in the playoffs, but they won't do any damage once they get there. They have a few good players, but they simply aren't a good enough team to win the super bowl. - ChickenKing
A great Aaron Rodgers and a Recovering Jordy Nelson, along with Cobb are very dangerous and a strong team. - froogylowlo
I know they had a sketchy season but that will change with the returning Jordy Nelson. - htoutlaws2012
I think they will win to cause there my favourite team
I think they make the playoffs next year, and they might make it as far as the NFC championship game, but it seemed like most teams figured out the legion of boom last year, especially considering they seemed to rely on their offense for the most part last year. Their team also isn't at the same skill level that it was at two/three years ago when they were in the super bowl. - ChickenKing
They have great players like Wilson, Baldwin, Sherman, Thomas, and Chancellor
The Seahawks are great. Against the Panthers in the NFC Championship Game, they were down by 31, but came back and only lost by 7. They have great players, such as Wilson, Lynch and Baldwin. - froogylowlo
Um pats have a better chance they are so much better
I think they can have a 12 and 4 record and still be a better team than this year. The passing game might take a step back but the run game and defense are only going to get better
I think they still have a very good year, and I think that they could go back to the super bowl at their best, but I think overall last year was sort of a fluc year.Whether Panthers fans admit it or not, their teams shouldn't have had as good of a year as they did. I still think they make the playoffs, but I think they get eliminated in either the divisional round, championship game, or lose in the super bowl. - ChickenKing
Well considering they had the easiest schedule let's give em a hard schedule. - htoutlaws2012
They basically won 50, and I don't think they'll slow down for a while.
No, first of all, Romo is the Derrick Rose of the NFL. If someone pats him on the back he's out for season. There is no way he stays healthy all year, and without him the Cowboys entire infrastructure falls apart. They also are forced to rely to much on the pass, because they cut Demarco Murray at the end of the year before last. They don't have a good running back, and unless they draft Henry, or Fournette, or someone like that, and they do well immediately, they are in trouble. At best I can see them going 7-9 - ChickenKing
If romo can stay healthy and their risk draft pays off they sure have a shot at the title
Last time the cowboys won 8 straight games they made it to the Superbowl and won
Terrible defense. Terrible offense. WORST TEAM IN THE NFL.
How are cowboys, saints, and giants in front of us? Saints have the 2nd worst defense. Giants have THE WORST defense. Cowboys can't win with romo gone and we know he is made of glass. And unlike these teams the vikings won their division! Cowboys finished last, saints finished last, and giants finished 3rd because the cowboys got last. - cartjohn3
They pretty much beat the Seahawks in the playoffs and that was without their two best offensive lineman. And most of their team is under 26
Only undefeated team so far 5-0
While the NFC north has been unpredictable as far as 2nd to 4th, I say the vikings go down a spot but make the playoffs again. - htoutlaws2012
There offense is awesome. The defense improved from last year but it needs to improve a lot more if they want a chance at the playoffs.
Atlanta probably has a good shot to get back to the playoffs next year, but they won't go anywhere. - ChickenKing
Until Matt Ryan gets it, this team is just gonna keep missing even if they start 5-0. - htoutlaws2012
Voting the Falcons just because I don't want the Pats to win the Super Bowl
I think the Chiefs win the AFC West this year, but I also think their division will step up its game overall. I think that their division will be tougher this year then it was last year. I think if their defense plays like they normally do, and they decide to mix their plays up instead of just giving the ball to Charles all the time they could probably get to the AFC Championship game. However, if they keep overusing Charles like they tend to do, I think they will be much more predictable, and they will lose in the first round. - ChickenKing
An 11 games win streak in 2015 WITHOUT Jamaal Charles made the Playoffs after demolishing the Texans by 30, imagine that, except add Jamaal Charles. Feel me? Or Nah? - froogylowlo
Outstanding defense. Had a long win streak without Jamaal Charles. Travis Kelce is going to have an even better year. I say they win the division.
I'm a chiefs fan!
Something tells me they'll be a lot different not just because of Manning who most likely will retire, but they could lose tons of guys in free agency keep that in mind. - htoutlaws2012
I am a die-hard Broncos fan. I hate the fact that Peyton Manning just retired, and now the buttfumbler, Mark Sanchez, is likely going to be the starter. Now, I will not lose hope. I know that only the BEST teams repeat Super Bowl wins, so my team is probably not going to the Super Bowl. But I gotta tell you, Denver has a damn good defense!
They honestly won the Super Bowl by luck, they only won the Pittsburgh game because Todman fumbled, and that was a Pittsburgh team without Antonio Brown, or Le'veon Bell, or D'angelo Williams, and an injured Roethlisberger. I could see them as a wild card next year, but they won't repeat. Their offense is a joke, and the only reason they won the super bowl, is because New England was soft against them, they got lucky with Pittsburgh, and Carolina was overconfident, and had never won one before. Like I said, I see them as wild cards but they will lose in the first round. - ChickenKing
I think they will finish 3rd in the division behind the Chiefs and the Raiders
They could take the next step, and grab a playoff spot, but they are to inexperienced in the playoffs, and they won't do anything if they get there - ChickenKing
I think they grab a wild card spot and finish second in the division behind the Chiefs.
They have improved significantly, they could make that push in the playoffs. - htoutlaws2012
Go 9-7. Take the last remaining Wild Card Spot. Win Division in overtime thriller against Broncos. Win against high seeded team. Win NFC Championship. Win Super Bowl. Raider Nation is wild. - Tacocheese
Tom Coughlin is gone. They have no o-line, defense, or much of a run game. Odell might have a good year but I think they finish last in the division.
The Giants stand virtually no chance. I think that Odell has a huge slump this year, and Eli Manning only knows how to play during the playoffs. I think at best they go 6-10 - ChickenKing
If anything I think they'll be taking a step back. No Coughlin, Atrocious defense, Eli is regressing = 3rd or 2nd in the division. - htoutlaws2012
Odell is the main factor, and It may be his year! - froogylowlo
I think that if Carson Palmer stays healthy all year, they will finally take that final step to reach the super bowl. I think they lose in the super bowl, but I think they have the team to get there. If Carson Palmer can not stay healthy their season collapses from when he is injured, because they have shown in previous seasons that they cannot play without him. - ChickenKing
I think they'll take a little step back and here's why. It's like taking baby steps win the playoff game and they do they get close and now I just think they'll be the Colts of that year. - htoutlaws2012
Carson Palmer has showed weakness but hey, he is old. They have a great defense and an offense that is just going to get better.
Two straight seasons with 12+ wins is not a team you want to play against. - froogylowlo
I think they can grab a wild card spot. I say they go 10 and 6. The offense doesn't have to be explained but the defense will be there undoing.
They would be lucky to go 8-8, they have virtually no defense, Drew Brees is getting old, he pretty much has no one to throw to, no they won't win the super bowl - ChickenKing
The Saints didn't have the best year in 15-16, but Brees and Watson will most likely comeback next year. - froogylowlo
Saints defense is improving! Their offense is #1! I think they might get the superbowl next year!
I think they rebound from last year, and win the division, but I don't see them being able to overcome the hurdle they've so desperately wanted to overcome in New England yet. I think they lose to either the Patriots or the Steelers in the playoffs. - ChickenKing
The Colts are going to have a little more "Luck" than last year. Haha. Get it? Bad pun. - froogylowlo
No way. This is way to high. I think they will be third in the division behind the Texans and the Jaguars. Ya, the Jaguars.
No way. They released receiver Andre Johnson
I think they could probably win their division again, but they will not go to the super bowl. Their team is simply not good enough for that. They will probably do exactly what they did last year, get to the playoffs and lose in the first round. - ChickenKing
Totally are going to win the division. REDSKINS ALL THE WAY.
The redskin is the best team ever. Washington Redskin will always try there best.
Good possibility of going for the divisional which could lead to a superbowl but will have to play extremely good to make it to a sb is liking that kirk cousin and Chris Thompson for now though - lucassass
I think they'll be fighting for a playoff spot, but I don't know if they get it. I think they have lost a little bit, and I think Pittsburgh wins the division, and I also believe that they are not as good as the Jets or the raiders. I think the final wildcard spot will go to the Jets, but I think they will be competing for it up until the end. - ChickenKing
They won't make the playoffs with the Steelers and an improved Ravens squad in their division
The Bengals are going to eventually change it's gotta happen and with hue Jackson leaving that could very well do it. - htoutlaws2012
They can kick Pittsburgh ass and are good enough to win
Their fans claim that their year was derailed due to the injuries they suffered, but they were doing bad before they got their injuries. They started off 0-3, and even though I agree that injuries really did put the nail in the coffin, they aren't really that good of a team, simple as that. - ChickenKing
Injuries killed this team, at least they didn't lose the coach he actually played almost every team tough that year which is what I think they could do to turn around after disappointment. - htoutlaws2012
Wallace and Smith post Achilles tear cannot carry this offense - cartjohn3
I say they go 7 and 9.
After Chip Kelly basically destroyed this team it will be an absolute miracle to get this team in the right direction again. - htoutlaws2012
Their team was basically destroyed last year. Either way though, they aren't very good to begin with. - ChickenKing
Why did they trade RB Demarco Murray
Don't forget Jim Schwartz made the bills defense #3 in the league a few years ago so he will improve the eagles d some. Still have questions at qb and wr - cartjohn3
They wont be any worse than last year. I like hue Jackson, but that defense isn't getting them anywhere - cartjohn3
If the Chargers won't be the worst team in the NFL, the Browns will be. - ChickenKing
The dumpster fire along Lake Erie
Probably not but they signed Robert Griffin III
Very Young team. They could easily win the division.
I'm sorry but I'm crying tears of pity and laughter right now
They might need to make some trades
Excuse me while I try not to laugh. - TheYoshiOverlord
I see them as doing as well as they did last year, no better no worse, because they are an equal team as they were last year. - ChickenKing
While I think this team is not to take lightly, I just think ultimately they'll find ways to lose trap games. - htoutlaws2012
I don't think they have a chance.
With a new offensive coordinator, and a more experienced tyrod taylor and a better offensive line, I feel we will be on our way when our injured get back to work and tyrod has a choice of recievers.
The Chargers need to press the reset button. I don't see them having a good year, I actually think they could be the worst team in the NFL - ChickenKing
They will have a better season next season but that run game and run defense definitely need improvements.
Going into more mediocrity. - htoutlaws2012
After almost making the playoffs, this teams gotta win a lot to get in it's not they have the pieces. - htoutlaws2012
I think they can steal a wild card spot from the Bengals.
They could probably grab a wildcard, they'll probably fight over it with Cincinnati, and Oakland, but they can get there. - ChickenKing
I think they'll surprise people, but they won't make the playoffs. I give them an 8-8 record. - ChickenKing
While I think they have a decent shot they fired there Coach why? - htoutlaws2012
They have a good offense with an okay offense. Winston did not do as well as Mariota but he is the future of the Buccaneers.
Added some talent on defense amd that offense was top 5 last year. They will be really good, but they have to win the division to be able in the playoffs. Nfc west and north will take the wild card spots - cartjohn3
A mediocre Texans team that made last year will do more poorly next season I guarantee it. - htoutlaws2012
If Indianapolis rebounds like I think they will, they stand no chance. - ChickenKing
I think they finish second in their division.
Lamar miller is an improvement over alfred blue. Osweiler is a bit better than hoyer but is still not proven himself as a reliable qb yet. Defense is #3 in the league at least - cartjohn3
This team isn't going anywhere they chose not to Fire Fisher, instead fire the coordinators yea enjoy not making it a 5th time. - htoutlaws2012
I think they'll be the surprise team. I thought they would make the playoffs last year, but at the end of last year I saw their actual ability at its best, and I think they'll be able to grab a wildcard spot. - ChickenKing
They might because they had number 1 draft pick
Looks to be more lionized crap, Caldwell should be gone by that year crossing fingers. - htoutlaws2012
Though Calvin Johnson retired they still have Golden Tate III
If Calvin Johnson retires they don't have a chance.
Cause in reality who made Stafford a star, that's right megatron without him that offense is going to suck. - htoutlaws2012
No way! Calvin Johnson retired
Late in the season they did better but what will happen if they lose Matt Forte. Jay Cutler did better than last year though. I thought the Bears were going 1-15.
They don't even have a good foundation to build on, there is no way they'll win the super bowl. - ChickenKing
Eh, can win division if they use their draft picks wisely. - Tacocheese
They'll finish last once again no surprise. - htoutlaws2012
Lamar miller is a really good running back, the dolphins just didn't use him right so hopefully the Texans do. - cartjohn3
This team was extremely disappointing last year and that isn't going to change. - htoutlaws2012
They drafted Laremy Tunsil and have Ndamukong Suh
They'll step it up a little bit, but not enough to make any sort of playoff run, maybe they go 6-10 - ChickenKing
Their defense needs serious help.
They traded for RB Demarco Murray
Bad defense, awful OL, bad run game they need help around Mariota it seems like. - htoutlaws2012
Even though I don't think they have the worst chance out of any team, they certainly don't have a good one. They'll probably continue their steady decline and go either 6-10, or 5-11 next year - ChickenKing
They hired the wrong coach. Last year all their stars retired. They wasted their money in Reggie Bush. They don't have a franchise QB. Lost Vernon Davis. They are also losing their o-line that used to be great. Eric Reid had a good first year but we have not seen anything from him yet.
Why are terrible teams on this list? - TheYoshiOverlord
How are the Browns higher up?
