Top 10 NFL Teams Most Likely to Win Super Bowl 51

The voting period for this list has ended.
The Top Ten
1 Patriots The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston region. New England Patriots are one of the few teams to have 5+ wins in the Super Bowl.

Boom. They did it again 2 years later. Last time, their skills were put to the test against the Hawks on 2015. February 5 of 2017, they struck again with good offense and defense against the Falcons. That was when there was the first overtime ever held at a Super Bowl. The score was tied 28-28. Later, a touchdown was scored by quarterback Brady. Yup, New England Patriots earned their 5th championship out of the 9 games.

They should some weakness at the end of last year, so I think that they are not going to do as good as people think they will, but I see them balancing between the 2 and 3 seeds all year. Once they get to the playoffs I think they lose in the divisional playoffs to whoever they play from wildcard weekend.

That comeback against the Falcons is probably the greatest in their franchise history, even though I'm not a Pats fan.

2 Steelers The Pittsburgh Steelers are a professional American football team based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, that competes in the National Football League. Pittsburgh Steelers have won the most Super Bowls with 6 which currently stands today.

I think they can do it if they get a good secondary player. They obviously have an offense that is capable of doing it, with arguably the best receiving core in the NFL, and same thing with Le'veon Bell at running back, and Ben Roethlisberger at quarterback. If they can stay healthy then I don't see any reason they couldn't do it, especially considering their schedule next year is fairly simple. They also have playoff experience, and young talent combined, and they seem like a team hungry for a title, so I think they've got the best chance of doing it.

This team is my pick to win it all next year if that offense is 100% you can believe they are unstoppable.

If Big Ben, Antonio Brown, and Le'veon Bell stay healthy, the Steelers will make it to at least the AFC Champ.

3 Packers The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference North division. The Packers have won 4 Super Bowls and 13 NFL championships.

Everyone thinks that the Packers are going to go to the super bowl every year, and someone should look at their team. They are decent, probably decent enough to grab the last spot in the playoffs, but they won't do any damage once they get there. They have a few good players, but they simply aren't a good enough team to win the super bowl.

Aaron Rodgers and the offense has got so much better over the past 7 games. We won 8 in a row including the wild card round over ny Giants. Also did anyone see Rodgers insane Hail Mary pass at the end of the first half of the game vs Giants?

I think there defense will step up and Aaron Rodgers will have a great year. He has Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. Davante Adams and Ty Montogomery had good years. Jeff Janis and Richard Rodgers both caught Hail Marys. Jared Abbrederis played well in their loss to the Cardinals.

4 Seahawks The Seattle Seahawks are a professional American football franchise based in Seattle, Washington. The Seahawks compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference West division.

I think they make the playoffs next year, and they might make it as far as the NFC championship game, but it seemed like most teams figured out the legion of boom last year, especially considering they seemed to rely on their offense for the most part last year. Their team also isn't at the same skill level that it was at two/three years ago when they were in the super bowl.

They are good but I don't think so. Marshawn may not come back. Russell Okung will be a free agent and they already lost Max Unger in that terrible trade for Jimmy Graham. Thomas Rawls and Tyler Lockett might have sophomore slumps.

The Seahawks are great. Against the Panthers in the NFC Championship Game, they were down by 31, but came back and only lost by 7. They have great players, such as Wilson, Lynch and Baldwin.

5 Vikings The Minnesota Vikings are an American football team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings joined the National Football League as an expansion team in 1960, and first took the field for the 1961 season.

How are cowboys, saints, and giants in front of us? Saints have the 2nd worst defense. Giants have THE WORST defense. Cowboys can't win with romo gone and we know he is made of glass. And unlike these teams the vikings won their division! Cowboys finished last, saints finished last, and giants finished 3rd because the cowboys got last.

I like Bridgewater, but the Vikings don't really have anyone to fall back on other than Adrian Peterson. Teddy Bridgewater, and Stefon Diggs is a great dua, and they've got a solid defense but, they need another year or two in the playoffs to gain the ability to win the super bowl.

They pretty much beat the Seahawks in the playoffs and that was without their two best offensive lineman. And most of their team is under 26

6 Panthers The Carolina Panthers are a professional American football team based in Charlotte, North Carolina, that competes in the National Football League.

The Panthers are your super bowl 51 champs. I say this because it's a better team that knows it can win. Everyone is harping on the departure of josh Norman but he's a system corner and will fail with redskins. The corners they drafted will do very well after rough play to start. Bradberry will be a good corner by seasons end. Sanchez will rise also. Tre Boston will rise. Linebackers will be better with Thompson in the mix and Colman will play better than ever. Best team in history is what I'm predicting.

Thanks,
Adam L Kiger

I think they still have a very good year, and I think that they could go back to the super bowl at their best, but I think overall last year was sort of a fluc year.Whether Panthers fans admit it or not, their teams shouldn't have had as good of a year as they did. I still think they make the playoffs, but I think they get eliminated in either the divisional round, championship game, or lose in the super bowl.

7 Cardinals The Arizona Cardinals are a professional American football franchise based in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

I think that if Carson Palmer stays healthy all year, they will finally take that final step to reach the super bowl. I think they lose in the super bowl, but I think they have the team to get there. If Carson Palmer can not stay healthy their season collapses from when he is injured, because they have shown in previous seasons that they cannot play without him.

I think they'll take a little step back and here's why. It's like taking baby steps win the playoff game and they do they get close and now I just think they'll be the Colts of that year.

Carson Palmer has showed weakness but hey, he is old. They have a great defense and an offense that is just going to get better.

8 Broncos The Denver Broncos are an American football team based in Denver, Colorado. The Broncos compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

They honestly won the Super Bowl by luck, they only won the Pittsburgh game because Todman fumbled, and that was a Pittsburgh team without Antonio Brown, or Le'veon Bell, or D'angelo Williams, and an injured Roethlisberger. I could see them as a wild card next year, but they won't repeat. Their offense is a joke, and the only reason they won the super bowl, is because New England was soft against them, they got lucky with Pittsburgh, and Carolina was overconfident, and had never won one before. Like I said, I see them as wild cards but they will lose in the first round.

I am a die-hard Broncos fan. I hate the fact that Peyton Manning just retired, and now the buttfumbler, Mark Sanchez, is likely going to be the starter. Now, I will not lose hope. I know that only the BEST teams repeat Super Bowl wins, so my team is probably not going to the Super Bowl. But I gotta tell you, Denver has a damn good defense!

9 Raiders The Las Vegas Raiders are a professional American football franchise based in Las Vegas. The Raiders began playing in 1960 as a member club of the American Football League; they have been a member club of the National Football League since the 1970 AFL–NFL merger. In 2020, the Raiders relocated from Oakland, California to Las Vegas.

Go 9-7. Take the last remaining Wild Card Spot. Win Division in overtime thriller against Broncos. Win against high seeded team. Win NFC Championship. Win Super Bowl. Raider Nation is wild.

They try their best in every game! and destroyed the broncos last year so we should have more of a chance then them.

I think they grab a wild card spot and finish second in the division behind the Chiefs.

10 Falcons The Atlanta Falcons are a professional American football team based in Atlanta, Georgia. The Falcons compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference South division.

Matt Ryan leads a high-powered offense with the likes of Julio Jones, running backs Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman, Mohamed Sanu, and offensive linemen including Andy Levitre. The defense definitely has to improve, but they have weapons such as Vic Beasley, Deion Jones, Keanu Neal and Robert Alford. They also have a impressive kicker by the name of Matt Bryant. The Falcons are looking good, and Atlanta is title-hungry. They will definitely be Super Bowl contenders this year.

Little did anyone know, Atlanta would surge to a lead, only to blow a 28-3 lead, becoming the second most ridiculed team in the NFL (Browns are first), and inspiring a line of 28-3 t-shirts, posters, and memes.

There offense is awesome. The defense improved from last year but it needs to improve a lot more if they want a chance at the playoffs.

The Contenders
11 Cowboys The Dallas Cowboys are a professional American football team based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The Cowboys compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference East division.

No, first of all, Romo is the Derrick Rose of the NFL. If someone pats him on the back he's out for season. There is no way he stays healthy all year, and without him the Cowboys entire infrastructure falls apart. They also are forced to rely to much on the pass, because they cut Demarco Murray at the end of the year before last. They don't have a good running back, and unless they draft Henry, or Fournette, or someone like that, and they do well immediately, they are in trouble. At best I can see them going 7-9

We saw this teams true colors when they lost Romo, Weedan wasn't good, Cassell is terrible, may'be their next draft pick could be the next answer probably not this year.

Dak prescott plus elliott is a lethan combination in this sport. COWBOYS for the win!

12 Chiefs The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

I think the Chiefs win the AFC West this year, but I also think their division will step up its game overall. I think that their division will be tougher this year then it was last year. I think if their defense plays like they normally do, and they decide to mix their plays up instead of just giving the ball to Charles all the time they could probably get to the AFC Championship game. However, if they keep overusing Charles like they tend to do, I think they will be much more predictable, and they will lose in the first round.

An 11 games win streak in 2015 WITHOUT Jamaal Charles made the Playoffs after demolishing the Texans by 30, imagine that, except add Jamaal Charles. Feel me? Or Nah?

Outstanding defense. Had a long win streak without Jamaal Charles. Travis Kelce is going to have an even better year. I say they win the division.

13 Giants The New York Giants are a professional American football team located in the New York metropolitan area.

The Giants stand virtually no chance. I think that Odell has a huge slump this year, and Eli Manning only knows how to play during the playoffs. I think at best they go 6-10

Tom Coughlin is gone. They have no o-line, defense, or much of a run game. Odell might have a good year but I think they finish last in the division.

If anything I think they'll be taking a step back. No Coughlin, Atrocious defense, Eli is regressing = 3rd or 2nd in the division.

14 Saints The New Orleans Saints are a professional American football team based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Saints currently compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference South division.

I think they can grab a wild card spot. I say they go 10 and 6. The offense doesn't have to be explained but the defense will be there undoing.

The Saints didn't have the best year in 15-16, but Brees and Watson will most likely comeback next year.

Saints defense is improving! Their offense is #1! I think they might get the superbowl next year!

15 Colts The Indianapolis Colts are an American football team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Colts compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference South division.

I think they rebound from last year, and win the division, but I don't see them being able to overcome the hurdle they've so desperately wanted to overcome in New England yet. I think they lose to either the Patriots or the Steelers in the playoffs.

They are going anywhere without a defense and running game. Texans, jaguars, and titans sre improving enough that the colts aren't able to beat them by 40 anymore by just throwing the ball. Jags have a-rob and hurns and ivory on offense, added a lot of key pieces on defense. Texans got a QB better than hoyer, still has a lot to prove though. Titans well... We will have to see if Murray fits well with the system and opens up the passing game-also have improved o-line

This team cannot miss the playoffs again with that fluke Texans team sneaking in and getting destroyed cause they didn't deserve to be there. Let's find that ''luck'' that we all know or else Pagano is gone.

16 Texans The Houston Texans are a professional American football team based in Houston, Texas. The team competes in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference South division.

I like the Osweiler and Miller signing. Osweiler, Miller, and Hopkins will hopefully be a killer duo if the coaching staff does what they should.

A mediocre Texans team that made last year will do more poorly next season I guarantee it.

Lamar miller is an improvement over alfred blue. Osweiler is a bit better than hoyer but is still not proven himself as a reliable qb yet. Defense is #3 in the league at least

17 Bengals The Cincinnati Bengals are a professional American football franchise based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Bengals currently compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference North division.

I think they'll be fighting for a playoff spot, but I don't know if they get it. I think they have lost a little bit, and I think Pittsburgh wins the division, and I also believe that they are not as good as the Jets or the raiders. I think the final wildcard spot will go to the Jets, but I think they will be competing for it up until the end.

The Bengals are going to eventually change it's gotta happen and with hue Jackson leaving that could very well do it.

I do not think that the Bengals will even make the playoffs.

18 Eagles The Philadelphia Eagles are a professional football franchise based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Eagles compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference East division.

After Chip Kelly basically destroyed this team it will be an absolute miracle to get this team in the right direction again.

Their team was basically destroyed last year. Either way though, they aren't very good to begin with.

Don't forget Jim Schwartz made the bills defense #3 in the league a few years ago so he will improve the eagles d some. Still have questions at qb and wr

19 Ravens The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team based in Baltimore, Maryland. The Ravens compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference North division.

Their fans claim that their year was derailed due to the injuries they suffered, but they were doing bad before they got their injuries. They started off 0-3, and even though I agree that injuries really did put the nail in the coffin, they aren't really that good of a team, simple as that.

Injuries killed this team, at least they didn't lose the coach he actually played almost every team tough that year which is what I think they could do to turn around after disappointment.

Wallace and Smith post Achilles tear cannot carry this offense

20 Redskins The Washington Commanders are a professional American football team based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. In 2020, Washington after 87 years got rid of the Redskins trademark due to it being labeled racist to native culture. It was named the Washington Football Team until February 2022, when the team was renamed the Washington Commanders.

I think they could probably win their division again, but they will not go to the super bowl. Their team is simply not good enough for that. They will probably do exactly what they did last year, get to the playoffs and lose in the first round.

U am a Patriots fan but... the redskins are the most exiting team to watch and are the most underrated team in the NFL

The redskin is the best team ever. Washington Redskin will always try there best.

21 Browns The Cleveland Browns are a professional American football team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Browns compete in the National Football League as a member team of the American Football Conference North division. The Cleveland Browns are one of the four teams to have never been to a Super Bowl, and one of two teams to go 0-16.

Let's have a moment of silence for Browns fans who expected to have at least a mediocre season. oh jeez, was it below mediocre.

They wont be any worse than last year. I like hue Jackson, but that defense isn't getting them anywhere

If the Chargers won't be the worst team in the NFL, the Browns will be.

22 Jaguars The Jacksonville Jaguars are an American professional football franchise based in Jacksonville, Florida.

Very Young team. They could easily win the division.

Excuse me while I try not to laugh.

You give that offense some time you could see a different Jags team may'be.

23 Bills The Buffalo Bills are a professional American football team based in the Buffalo–Niagara Falls metropolitan area that competes in the National Football League. Buffalo Bills had the longest playoff drought of any team which came to an end in 2017.

I see them as doing as well as they did last year, no better no worse, because they are an equal team as they were last year.

While I think this team is not to take lightly, I just think ultimately they'll find ways to lose trap games.

With a new offensive coordinator, and a more experienced tyrod taylor and a better offensive line, I feel we will be on our way when our injured get back to work and tyrod has a choice of recievers.

24 Chargers The Los Angeles Chargers are a professional American football team based in Los Angeles. The Chargers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

The Chargers need to press the reset button. I don't see them having a good year, I actually think they could be the worst team in the NFL

They will have a better season next season but that run game and run defense definitely need improvements.

25 Jets The New York Jets are a professional American football team located in the New York metropolitan area.

After almost making the playoffs, this teams gotta win a lot to get in it's not they have the pieces.

They could probably grab a wildcard, they'll probably fight over it with Cincinnati, and Oakland, but they can get there.

I think they can steal a wild card spot from the Bengals.
