Top Ten Best NFL Teams of Week 1 of the 2018 NFL Season

Week 1 was crazy, with blowouts, decimations, and comebacks. We had plenty of teams that stood out in good ways this week, but who are they? We’re looking at the top ten best NFL teams of week 1 of the 2018 NFL season.
The Top Ten
1 New York Jets The New York Jets are a professional American football team located in the New York metropolitan area.

48-17? Dang, never thought the Jets of all teams would win in this fashion. Not only did Sam Darnold make the Browns look foolish, the defense had five picks, and their first defensive touchdown since the 2013 season. Was it a fluke win? Or is this just the beginning for this young Jets team?

Very impressive for Sam Darnold and Co. was this just the Lions being the Lions or a sign of a new era for the Jets who could easily take 2nd in their division

2 Baltimore Ravens The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team based in Baltimore, Maryland. The Ravens compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference North division.

Definitely among the best teams of the week with that 47-3 win over the Buffalo Bills. What a day for the usually underwhelming Joe Flacco, who threw for three touchdowns for the first time since December 2016. Now as they head into week 2 going against the Bengals, they hope to jump to the top of the AFC North with a 2-0 record.

Looked good but then again they were playing Buffalo. This is where they have to prove themselves as a legitimate playoff team

3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a professional American football franchise based in Tampa, Florida. The Buccaneers currently compete in the National Football League as a member team of the National Football Conference South division.

Um, how? I’m still asking myself this question with their win over the Saints with Ryan Fitzpatrick as their quarterback. Like the Jets game, this could be a fluke, or it could be the start of a great season to come in Tampa Bay.

One of the most surprising results of the week. Could this be the start of a new era for the Bucs?

4 Kansas City Chiefs The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

Winning against the Chargers is quite easy for them apparently, especially when you have someone as dynamic as Tyreek Hill and a young and blooming quarterback. I was quite impressed with the way they played in week 1, and expect more next week.

A very solid start for the Chiefs. Mahomes looked great and Tyreek Hill was an absolute beast. Can they finally beat the Steelers without LeVeon Bell?

5 Los Angeles Rams The Los Angeles Rams are a professional American football team based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

That rout of the Oakland Raiders shows that they really have improved over the offseason. Marcus Peters proved to be a worthy pickup, with a pick six later in the game. And Todd Gurley looks just as dominant as ever with the Rams heading into week 2.

The hype in LA is real.. at least for the Rams. They proved that they could be a contender for the Super Bowl

6 Minnesota Vikings The Minnesota Vikings are an American football team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings joined the National Football League as an expansion team in 1960, and first took the field for the 1961 season.

With all those defensive takeaways and that Mike Hughes interception return for a touchdown, Minnesota definitely deserves a spot on here. They have a tough week 2, but they can overcome.

7 Green Bay Packers The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference North division. The Packers have won 4 Super Bowls and 13 NFL championships.

Aaron Rodgers reminded us all that he’s a god Leading a 24 point Second half while dealing with the injury. The Packers have momentum going against the Vikings. Can they take advantage of it?

That comeback. I still remember thinking right after Aaron Rodgers was injured, “oh man, here we go again.” But apparently he had different plans, throwing for three touchdowns in the 4th quarter to make a 24-23 comeback win. Not to mention Green Bay’s defense looks a lot better this year. Can they keep it up in week 2?

8 New England Patriots The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston region. New England Patriots are one of the few teams to have 5+ wins in the Super Bowl.

Believe me, they’re just as dominant as ever, and Brady seems young still. Additionally, their defense isn’t garbage anymore, which should help them in the long run. A decent win over the Houston Texans otherwise.

9 Jacksonville Jaguars The Jacksonville Jaguars are an American professional football franchise based in Jacksonville, Florida.

Sloppy game, yes. But their defensive play looks just as scary as ever, and Myles Jack showed that on Sunday. They had a good week with New York.

Offense needs some work but defense seems to have picked up where they left off before

10 Chicago Bears The Chicago Bears are a professional American football team in Chicago, Illinois. The Bears compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference North division.
The Contenders
11 Washington Redskins The Washington Commanders are a professional American football team based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. ...read more.
12 Philadelphia Eagles The Philadelphia Eagles are a professional football franchise based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Eagles compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference East division.

Wow are the Eagles really that overlooked even when they won the first game to kickoff Week 1 a hard fought win, but at least they didn't lose anybody significantly. Even with Jeffrey and Wentz out expected to come back around 2-3 weeks this teams only gonna get back to form as it as in 2017 the next three games are very easy in my view.

13 Carolina Panthers The Carolina Panthers are a professional American football team based in Charlotte, North Carolina, that competes in the National Football League.
