Top Ten Best NFL Teams of Week 13 of the 2018 NFL Season

The Top Ten
1 Houston Texans The Houston Texans are a professional American football team based in Houston, Texas. The team competes in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference South division.

They went into this game on upset watch, but that all seemed stupid going into halftime. Houston destroyed the Browns, who were just gaining momentum. Baker Mayfield was picked apart, throwing four interceptions and looking like, well, a rookie quarterback. The Texans offense also got them off the ground, with DeShaun Watson having a big game to propel the Texans to their 9th straight win, after starting 0-3.

2 Seattle Seahawks The Seattle Seahawks are a professional American football franchise based in Seattle, Washington. The Seahawks compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference West division.

Continuing their streak of dominance, the Seahawks smothered the hapless 49ers. Russell Wilson didn’t throw many passes, but when he did, it was usually a touchdown. He had four in fact. They also relied on their run game shockingly. With Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny in their backfield, of course they should turn to them. I think they will master a playoff run nobody expected.

3 Dallas Cowboys The Dallas Cowboys are a professional American football team based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The Cowboys compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference East division.

No one was expecting that. Did the Cowboys really upset the NFL’s best team? Apparently so, as their defense was a key factor here. They held the Saints of all teams to a mere 10 points, and having Drew Brees play his worst game in quite some time. On a side note, Leighton Vander Esch is a beast. I criticized Dallas for taking him in the draft instead of a wide receiver, but I guess I have to apologize to them now.

As much as I hate the Cowboys and their fanbase their defense is solid. Definitely not a team to take lightly. The Saints are no easy opponent and they held Drew Brees and Co. to only 10 points which is unheard of. The only downside to this team winning is their fanbase’s arrogance will once again rear its ugly head for the rest of the league to deal with because the only thing worse than a cowboys fan is an arrogant cowboys fan

Just got their butts kicked by the colts

4 New York Giants The New York Giants are a professional American football team located in the New York metropolitan area.

They played their most effective football since 2016 in this upset of the Bears. While Eli Manning was obviously not flashy, Odell Beckham certainly played well as a passer. The star wide receiver threw his second touchdown of the season in this game, going back to his high school days at quarterback. Suddenly, they don’t look so bad. I’ll bet next season, they’ll be a force to be reckoned with.

5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a professional American football franchise based in Tampa, Florida. The Buccaneers currently compete in the National Football League as a member team of the National Football Conference South division.

An upset of the Panthers was not expected, but it happened anyway. The Bucs doomed their division rivals by picking Cam Newton off four times, and with Jameis Winston playing relatively mistake free football. Those factors led to this Buccaneers win. Reminds me of them in week 1.

6 Los Angeles Rams The Los Angeles Rams are a professional American football team based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

Slow start for Los Angeles coming off of a bye week, but they didn’t disappoint later on, dominating the Lions and clinching the NFC West, and securing a playoff spot.

7 Los Angeles Chargers The Los Angeles Chargers are a professional American football team based in Los Angeles. The Chargers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

They’ve never been good in primetime, and the 1st half of Sunday Night Football against the Steelers was no exception. But apparently something clicked at halftime, and the game ended in a Chargers comeback and a wild last seconds with the kick.

This team is gonna be scary in the playoffs

8 Denver Broncos The Denver Broncos are an American football team based in Denver, Colorado. The Broncos compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.
9 Baltimore Ravens The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team based in Baltimore, Maryland. The Ravens compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference North division.

Lamar Jackson has officially pushed Joe Flacco from Baltimore. Jackson has been a prolific runner, and a decent passer, getting the Ravens back into playoff contention.

10 New England Patriots The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston region. New England Patriots are one of the few teams to have 5+ wins in the Super Bowl.

The Patriots won in expected fashion, while playing well in the process.
