Nick Menza (1963-2016) was an American drummer best known for his work with Megadeth from 1989-1998. He drummed on 4 Megadeth albums, Rust in Peace, Countdown to Extinction, Youthinasia, and Cryptic Writings. Menza also played alongside Marty Friedman and other bands such as Memeorain and OHM. Menza is looked at as one of the best and most influential drummers in heavy metal. He passed away in 2016 after collapsing onstage during an OHM set.
