Nintendo's Kindest Characters

These characters are very kind but are also willing to fight. They display many traits of being self-less, sweet, kind and have gentle mannerisms. If you see someone missing, add them.
The Top Ten
1 Pikmin (Pikmin)

Any pikmin counts because they're all willing to help strangers like Olimar, Charlie, etc survive. They're kind, self-less, and go out of their way to help perfect strangers even putting themselves at risk. They deserve the number one spot.

Nit only do they fight for their lives and carry around stuff, but these mini plant-ants are possibly the cutest thing ever.

2 Eirika (Fire Emblem)

I could fill this list with Fire Emblem characters but I'll just pick one for now. Princess Eirika strikes me as the kindest protagonist yet, she grew up as a sheltered princess unlike her brother. Throughout her journey we can see how naive yet kind she is. She goes out of her way to try and save children, civilians, and her loved ones which puts her in danger many times. Yet she never loses her gentle tough and makes many important friends in her journey.

I agree. She is very kind.

3 Elline (Kirby)

I think she's probably one of the nicest Kirby character yet but a lot of Kirby characters seem fit this title so I had to pick just one and I picked her. Kirby is also a good alternative but I felt like giving someone else the spot.

4 Starfy (The Legendary Starfy)

Starfy is the starfish protagonist from the Starfy series. He is very much like Kirby in that he's really cute, fun, kind and jovial. He has different abilities though, he can transform into different things and has different abilities like fire, although he's mainly portrayed using water abilities in smash.

5 Isabelle (Animal Crossing)

Animal Crossing is a series that you can't go wrong with calling most of its characters kind. However Isabelle seems to be pushed as the marketable "kind" character so she's like the mascot for it.

6 Fiora (Xenoblade Chronicles)

In Xenoblade I think Fiora or Dunban seemed like they kindest characters of the crew. They were the friendliest of the grew, while Dunban was the wisest of the group Fiora was the most selfless so I'd say she's more fitting for this category.

7 Rosalina (Mario) Rosalina, known as Rosetta in Japan, is a major character in the Mario Franchise created by Nintendo. She first appeared in the 2007 Mario Game, Super Mario Galaxy for the Nintendo Wii and later returned for the game's sequel in 2010. Since then, she has been featured in many main-series Mario Games and many spinoffs. She has appeared as a playable character in Super Mario 3D World for the Nintendo Wii U in 2013 and is a playable character in the Mario Kart series and Mario Party series. She also has come into Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS as a part of the large character roster.

The Mario series also has a lot of competition for the "Kindest" characters but I'd the top 5 is between Peach, Yoshi, Toad, Toadette, and Rosalina. Each of them portray kindness in different ways but I'd say characters that have a motherly nature are a little bit kinder so that leaves Yoshi vs Rosalina and for this coin toss I picked Rosalina. Sorry Yoshi.

8 Nurse Joy (Pokemon) Nurse Joy is a fictional character in the Pokemon Universe who works at the Pokemon center in almost every major city who tends to the Pokemon brought in by trainers after battle.

The Nurse Joy family takes care of your fallen pokemon so each of them need to be kind, and caring to the pokemon. Otherwise you'd need to buy items on your own! The pokemon that are portrayed as her companion like Chansey and such are also good alternatives for this list.

9 Princess Peach (Super Mario Bros series) Princess Peach is a major character in the Mario Bros. Franchise. She is the lead female of the The Mario franchise. She is usually the character who needs saved in most Mario Games, but also has appeared as a playable character in the Main-Series Mario Games, including Super Mario 3D World, Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Run, and even starred in her own game, Super Princess Peach for the Nintendo DS. She has appeared in many spinoff series, too, including Mario and Sonic Olympic Games, the Mario Kart series, the Mario Party series, Mario Sports Games, the Super Smash Bros. Series, and many more.

There are many kind Nintendo characters but my favorite is Peach.

10 Prince Sidon (Zelda)

The Prince of the Zora family in Breath of the wild. Prince Sidon displays a lot personality like being brave, optimistic, and a good sport. He is one of the few willing to co-operate with Link to the dismay of his elders.

The Contenders
11 Pit (Kid Icarus Uprising) Pit is a fictional character and the protagonist of the Kid Icarus series, first appearing in Kid Icarus for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1986 and later appearing in Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters for the Game Boy in 1991.

Pit is loud, cheerful, and a very curious character. He resembles an outgoing teenager in my opinion even though he's an angel. Other characters love to tease him but that doesn't ever bring him down. He's overall cheerful and charismatic.

12 Robin (Fire Emblem)

SPOILERS!

Robin (in game) wakes up with NO clue who he/she is, and yet still decides to rush straight into battle to protect a village without even knowing if they can fight. They then take one of the most stressful positions in war, tactician, to keep people who don’t even fully trust them *cough* Fredrick *cough* safe. Not only that, but when their past is finally revealed, and they are given a choice to die to protect the future, they do it even though they know it is most likely permeant. (At least in my play through, I personally can’t NOT sacrifice myself for everyone, it has the cutest end scene! ) Plus, if you spend time getting Robin to support with others they are genuinely kind, and extremely supportive, particularly Male Robin.

13 Yoshi (Super Mario World) Yoshi, once romanized as Yossy, is a fictional anthropomorphic dinosaur who appears in video games published by Nintendo. Often appearing as a sidekick and helper to Mario, Yoshi is most known for his appearances in the Yoshi's Island and the Super Mario franchises.

This friendly dinosaur allows you to ride on his back, eating away obstacles. He also appears in his own game, yoshi's woolly world, where he and his team of poochys save his land of evil creatures. Even if the internet sees him as a tax fraud, he's a lovable mascot to nintendo in my book.

He sacrifices himself for Mario to get him over pits. This is just outright generous.

14 Mario (Super Mario Bros.) Mario, originally named Jumpman, is the main character of the Super Mario Bros. franchise, created by the creative director and video game designer at Nintendo of Japan, Shigeru Miyamoto. Mario has appeared in almost every Mario game, including games in spin-off series as a playable character, with few exceptions including New Super Luigi U, Luigi's Mansion games, Yoshi's Island games, and similar counterparts. He is the most iconic character in video game history and is Nintendo's unofficial mascot. His franchise has grown to be the most successful video game franchise of all time.
15 Kirby (Kirby) Kirby is a fictional character and the protagonist of the Kirby series of video games owned by Nintendo and HAL Laboratory. His first game was created in 1992, and the pink puffball has made his way into the hearts of fans of all ages.
16 Luigi (Super Mario Bros.) Luigi, originally a palette swap of Mario named Green Mario, is a major character featured in video games and related media released by Nintendo. Created by prominent game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, Luigi is portrayed as the slightly younger, taller fraternal twin brother of Nintendo's unofficial mascot Mario, and appears in many games throughout the Super Mario franchise, often as a sidekick to his brother.
17 Fox McCloud (StarFox) Fox McCLoud is an anthropomorphic fox who first appeared in Star Fox for the Super NES in 1993, the son of James McCloud who perished during a mission and the leader of the new Star Fox team along with Peppy Hare former member of the original Star Fox team, Falco Lombardi and Slippy Toad as they the battle the evil genius Andross and his forces to keep them from taking over the Lylat System.

He saves his teammates whenever they're in danger. That is very kind.

18 Zelda (The Legend of Zelda series) Princess Zelda is a fictional character in Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda video game series, created by Shigeru Miyamoto and introduced in its original entry in 1986.
