Nintendo Villains with the Most Epic Designs

SweetBasil
This list considers everything from personality, outfit, story, and overall design. They don't need to be the most popular either so insert anyone missing as long as you explain why.

The Top Ten

1 Dimentio (Super Paper Mario) Dimentio (Super Paper Mario)
2 Ganondorf (The Legend of Zelda) Ganondorf (The Legend of Zelda) Ganon (Referred to as Ganondorf in human form) is a fictional character and the central antagonist of Nintendo's Legend of Zelda series. He is a power-hungry Gerudo who possesses the Triforce of Power and aims to conquer Hyrule with the remaining Triforce parts.

In my opinion he has a lot of great designs, my favorite being the one with long hair (hyrule warriors). He's got an intimidating persona so you'll never forget about him. - SweetBasil

3 Hades (Kid Icarus Uprising)

This guy is the reason I wish there were more Kid Icarus games, even though he's only been in one. He looks cool but his personality is even better, he is as vicious as he is hilarious. - SweetBasil

4 Ridley (Metroid) Ridley (Metroid)

Samus' archenemy and the villain that killed her parents. He's probably the most iconic Metroid villain, and he is quite scary looking too. - SweetBasil

5 Medusa (Kid Icarus) Medusa (Kid Icarus)

Medusa is the first villain in the Kid Icarus series and one of the first female villains in Nintendo games. However I much prefer her modern look, I love it! She's not around for that long in Uprising but I still appreciated seeing her. - SweetBasil

6 Bowser (Super Mario) Bowser (Super Mario) Bowser is the main antagonist of the Mario Bros. Franchise. From kidnapping Princess Peach to simply destroying a fun game between Mario and Friends in the Mario Party spinoff series, this king of the Koopas has set up a certain hatred towards himself amongst the large cast of Mario Characters. He first ...read more.

Bowser is the most recurring villain but sometimes he does get to wear different outfits too (wedding outfit, dry Bowser look etc). In some games he's more comic relief and in others he's more intimidating but he's definitely epic. - SweetBasil

7 Black Knight (Fire Emblem)

The Black Knight is perhaps the most popular Fire Emblem villain, he even got a DLC costume in smash. He's pretty cool, although not my favorite villain I can't deny he fits this list. - SweetBasil

8 Aversa (Fire Emblem Awakening)

Aversa, Gangrel, and Walhart have what it takes to fit this list and the three of them were my favorite villains in Awakening. Aversa is definitely one of the sultriest female villains in the series tied with maybe Sonia. She's not as intimidating as Petrine but she's not nice like Selena either. I love the part where she teases Ricken when he tries to save Maribelle. - SweetBasil

9 Ghirahim (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword) Ghirahim (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

He is probably the most flamboyant villain out of all Nintendo games I think. I like him though, for me this entry was a tie breaker between him and Skull Kid. - SweetBasil

10 Lusamine (Pokemon) Lusamine (Pokemon) Lusamine is a fictional character introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon. She is the head of the Aether Foundation.

Pokemon sun was the latest pokemon game I played. She's pretty and looks normal the first time you meet her but then when the Nihilego or whatever that giant alien squid appears you find out how crazy she really is. She's obsessed with pokemon to a very unhealthy extent to say the least. She's lower on this list because I'm no pokemon expert so there might be more epic villains out there. - SweetBasil

The Contenders

11 Nightmare (Kirby's Adventure)

I'm not that familiar with Kirby games so I'm only judging this one on appearances but I like Lord Nightmare's design, he looks more intimidating than the other Kirby villains to me. - SweetBasil
