Best Non-Disney Animated Films
This was pretty weird, but still fantastic.
The greatest fairy tale ever told.
So funny, I couldn't stop watching it!
The best non-Disney animated film ever. It does all the Disney tropes: the tough princess, musical numbers, and fairytale magic, yet still manages to match up to Disney's classics.
Such a great movie, loved it as a kid and still love it today. And the song of the villain (In the Dark of the Night) is better than anything coming from Disney.
This is the best! It has that disney feel but is better than disney movies ( I'm saying this and I'm a huge disney fan) dimitri seems more like an ordinary men and Anastasia doesn't have the whole princess personality but still act with class. Such an amazing film my 2nd favourite film ever
I loved this when I was young, and I still love the song at the beginning. It's so beautiful, and I sang it in an audition to land the role of Penny in my middle school production of hairspray! and I got it! They said that song was beautiful and even if you don't watch this beautiful Classic at least listen to the songs, especially at the beginning!
Loved this films sung song 4 ages but didn't watch second one because to old now
This is probably my favorite animated film ever, hard choice
This has amazing music, I could listen to the soundtrack forever.
Back when Dreamworks actually made great 2D films
Inspired a fascination with dinosaurs as a kid
No no no, Shrek 2 is my favorite movie of the franchise and one of the greatest sequels of all time! Boring my ass!
Shreck 2 is kinda boring
What a great film.
Springfield's funniest in their first big screen outing.
Best movie ever! I want to find a list that this movie was put number1 on. Can you PLEASE tell me where to find it
Absolutely hilarious and endlessly quotable.
One of the lucky few that managed to triumph during the monopoly of the Disney Renaissance
Magnificent music, gripping take on Moses... you even feel sorry for Pharaoh
Most underrated animated film ever. Lack of advertising due to lack of studio confidence was the reason for its obscurity.
This is as good as any Disney movie.
Based on an inspiring true story
Bad fanbase, though.
The ending of this movie made me happy cry
"Never say never! " Take that, Justin Bieber
An amazing and hilarious movie. The part where Cartman battles against Saddam Hussein is hilarious.
One of the few non-Disney animated musicals to score a fresh rating in the 1990s
I loved cats don't dance! especially danny and sawyer but mostly danny! he has a dream I have a dream this movie is made for meh!
During the Disney Renaissance in the 90s, most non-Disney animated musicals were failed imitations. But Ferngully, along with The Prince of Egypt, Anastasia, and Cats Don't Dance, were the miraculous few that broke through with fresh ratings.
Don Bluth's underrated masterpiece
