Top Ten Non-Existing Warrior Cats Tom Names

Honestly, Nightheart was supposed to be named Flameheart, but anyways.

I imagine Flameheart as a fiery-red tom with amber eyes, white paws, tail-tip, and ears. He was born a loner, and he doesn't know his parents. ShadowClan accepts him, and he is trying to become a better warrior. Soon enough the leader, Darkstar, believes that Flameheart has shown his loyalty and has earned his place to become a true ShadowClan warrior. But then a moon after that, Ripplefang, the cat he always loved, turned out to want to trick him always, and he felt sad with anger when she told the Clans in a Gathering that Flameheart wasn't to be trusted. Just one moon after that, the Dark Forest visits his dreams and haunts him, saying that he could have a powerful future, but warned that it might lead him to the paths of evil. Flameheart was too happy to decline or even think about it. As he leaves his dream, Flameheart becomes powerful, but no other cat knows about it until Flameheart goes to power and, each night, the Dark Forest visits him and tells him to get revenge on the Clans. Flameheart agreed, and used his powers to overwhelm the Clans. But one night, Batwing of ShadowClan kills Flameheart, and instantly he goes to the Dark Forest to live his life afterwards. Flameheart and the Dark Forest still plan their revenge, although Flameheart was now fully charged with evil, not ambition and sadness. Will the Clans be ready?

He is evil cause why not. He is a black tom with fiery eyes. He was named Lightheart, but he changed it to Darkheart and lives in ShadowClan. His mum was a rogue who died, but he teamed up with his father Iceheart to destroy the Clans, because he felt like everyone needed to be rogues. His half-brother Frostheart (go to Names That Don't Exist, look in the comments for my underrated story) killed Iceheart and Darkheart, but Darkheart gave him enough wounds to bleed to death. Darkheart went to the dark forest. I swear I'll write a good Darkheart soon!

I imagine him as a sleek, dark gray tom with black tabby stripes. His eyes are bright yellow, and he's mostly kind but also kind of sassy, and can't obey his leader without telling them what's wrong with the leader's plan, and has trouble submitting to his leader, even when he knows the leader is right. He's also very ambitious and could make a great leader if he listened to his Clanmates more.

I don’t really agree. In my opinion ( and PLEASE don’t judge ), this name sounds like an evil cat. I imagine a jet-black tom with piercing red eyes. He may seem loyal and trustworthy on the outside, but he is waiting for the perfect time to kill. Darkheart is deputy of ShadowClan, and wants to kill the leader to have all power. But, he does honor his brother, Blackflame, because of how strong he was. Darkheart is strong and clever. But watch out! Someday, he will strike at his turn and his fangs will be of blood. Geez, warriors geeks these days. Can't you appreciate the beauty of simple names?! I, for one, can easily describe a cat named Darkheart.A dark gray or black tom with fiery amber eyes and an attitude. A name doesn't have to be super pretty or creative. Cheezers.

Some people are saying that its not creative, but some warrior names in the books are sometimes not creative. Like Brackenfur, for example. Bracken is good prefix, but fur is normal, its not awesome. I'm not saying I don't like Brackenfur, he's an awesome cat. So why don't you just respect these ideas?

Um no offense but isn't this list supposed to be for TOMCAT names? So why do I take this as a she-cat? Don't get me wrong, it's awesome, but I just think it belongs on a different list.

This name sounds amazing but they don't know what Phoenix's are and they do not exist even how much we wish they did but I'd still use it

I don't think cats know what a Phoenix is... but it could fit a kittypet named Phoenix who joined the Clan.

Firestorm is a flame colored tom with blue eyes and his mother is Firestar's cousin. Firestorm's mate is Silverstripe is silver with black stripes and they have five kits, Wispkit who is black and she-kit, Flickerkit who is fire and black tom, Shellkit who is gray and flame tom and Streamkit who is flame she-kit. all of them are courageous, energetic, kind, sweet, caring, and brave

Not very unique. That's not a bad thing though! I actually really like this name! It's pretty simple, and that's good, because I keep wanting a break from crazy stand out names like Wisheyes, (not kidding, I actually saw that name on a list like this,) wait, no, I think it was actually Magiceyes, but there was also one cat name with the prefix Wish. Sorry, I don't really remember it very well. Anyways, the whole point of this comment is to say that simple names like this are very nice, and refreshing. Actually not that I think about it, Grass is actually a kind of unique prefix, but not super duper unique like magic or wish. So the point I'm trying to get at is, I really like this name. Is it all right if I use it in a fanfiction I'm writing?

Guess what, haters? A warrior cats name doesn't have to be super duper unique, like Eaglestrike or Ashtalon! The whole point of the name is to give you an image of what that cat looks like! I ask you, try to describe a cat named Firestream LOOKS ONLY. Hard, right? Now try to describe a cat named Grassfur. I can easily see a dark brown tabby with emerald green eyes and a matted pelt. If you think about it, many cats in the original series have names like Willowpelt, Bluefur, even MOUSEfur! That's what helps make a warrior a warrior! And if you don't appreciate the naming process, then in a way you don't appreciate warriors.

Love it! But you people need to stop thinking this name is super ugly. Let me just say that the name "Amythestecho" is horrible, "Sapphirewing", is unrealistic, and "Opalstrike" is stupid. And if you hate this name, you're most likely one of those people that love those names. This is actually very creative! A warrior name is actually quite boring when it's something like Deathshine or Diamondblood. When you have a name like Grassfur it sounds more mature and professional than Sparklespirit. It's easy to imagine Grassfur with a well-shaped personality and a well-developed appearance.

Oh, and also, look at Brackenfur. Bracken is kind of unique, like the prefix Grass in Grassfur. And both Grassfur and Brackenfur have fur as a prefix. But you don't see people sending nasty comments to the Erins saying, "OH MY STARCLAN! THE NAME BRACKENFUR IS SO PLAIN AND UNCREATIVE! I HATE IT! " So, don't listen to the haters who say that this name is boring! They just have absolutly no respect for the traditional warriors naming system.

This is awesome! Fern is not used so often, but it is a great suffix! I think Ripplefern is a brown tabby cat with silver tabby patches, white paws, muzzle and tail tip and green eyes. Could be a med cat or a queen.

I love this name! I think of a sleek, gloss-furred she. She lives in River man (duh) and is very ambitious. She is a lot like Squirrelflight, independent and head-strong.

I think AshFire would be a gray and orange tortishell cat, with deep blue eyes. He'd be first choice for deputy or leading a patrol. He would risk his life for his clan, but he still has his own will. I'm TOTALLY USING THIS NAME IN MY STORY

This is hilarious and really got me thinking. I don't think the cats know what farts are, because in The Sight of Power of 3, Hollykit tells Lionkit that he looks like he has wind when he's trying to do the hunting crouch, so I think the cats call farts wind. But, granted, Windwhisker doesn't sound nearly as good as Fartwhisker.

Everyone commenting 'this is a she-cat name' - Warrior names are not gendered. You could have a female cat named Darkclaw as much as you could have a male cat named Brightflower. Silverblossom actually sounds like a very elegant name for a tom.

Ok. He has fiery fur and amber eyes. He has also a littermate, Flamelight. As an apprentice, Firepaw didn't seem to have an "identity", it seemed to be never "Firepaw", but "Flamepaw's brother", while his sister got a lot of attention and was better than him at everything. Flamepaw became warrior before Firepaw, being renamed as "Flamelight", for her light shining so bright (this is a metaphor, means that she became so great). Without having his sister in the den, Firepaw became truely invisible, until the day a fox invaded the camp. It killed the leader, and the deputy and his mother, Hazelfern, who always supported him, got the leadership. Firepaw was the one to kill the fox, so Hazelstar made him warrior. Fireshade was his warrior name, for always being like Flamelight's shadow. His best friend was a cream she cat with reddish orange eyes called Berryflower.
