Not all metal fans like extreme metal so this list is about metal songs that are melodic and with clean vocals all the time or most of the time.
The Metal Gods are still going strong. The key members are in their 60s and 70s and they still rock! Hand down.
There are some harsh vox though
I'd call this band Judas Priest Jr. No, they don't rip off Judas Priest. Primal Fear just sound pretty much like Judas Priest - high pitched vox, twin lead guitars, same metal subgenre(s), overall sound.
Amorphis' 2018 album is very strong and several songs can be in the top 10.
Judas Priest's new album was very good so don't be surprised there is more than one song in my top 10
A pleasant metal instrumental piece. Gus G. is a very good guitarist.
