Best Non-Japanese Cartoons for Anime Fans

Love anime? Same! These cartoons are very similar to anime and can be enjoyed by cartoon fans and otakus alike! Please add some cartoons to the list! I've only added cartoons that I watch and/or know of. Most of these I don't actually watch. Quick note: it's a cartoon if it isn't Japanese and is animated.
The Top Ten
1 RWBY RWBY is an American 3D web series created by Monty Oum for Rooster Teeth. The show is set in the fictional world of Remnant, where young people train to become Huntsmen and Huntresses to protect their world from the creatures of Grimm.

Often mistaken for anime, but since it's American, it's a cartoon. Regardless, RWBY is amazing. At first, it's a little cheesy and has bad animation, but it gets so deep. Also, the animation does improve. With breath-taking fights, likeable characters with different yet believable intentions and an exhilarating plot, RWBY is one of the best cartoons. It is VERY similar to anime in every aspect, therefore, earning its place on this list.

It's an anime(considering an anime is technically any sort of animation) but regardless it's an amazing series. The characters are either supposed to be relateable(Jaune, Weiss, Blake, etc.)or not supposed to be relateable(Qrow, Ozpin, Pyrrha, etc.) and that contrast makes the series memorable. The action scenes are very impressive. The music just makes the highs higher and the lows lower. And to top it all off is a complex story that challenges the psychology of humans. This series is also on YouTube FOR FREE!

2 Avatar: The Last Airbender Avatar: The Last Airbender is an American animated television series that aired for three seasons on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008. Avatar: The Last Airbender is set in an Asiatic-like world in which some people are able to manipulate the classical elements by use of psychokinetic variants of Chinese martial arts, known as "bending". This show is often seen as one of the greatest cartoons of all time and is commonly thought to be an anime.
