Best Nu Metal Bands That Went Horribly Unrecognized

This is a list of nu metal bands that went under the radar but are very worth listening to!
The Top Ten
1 Nothingface Nothingface was an American alternative/nu-metal band from Washington, D.C., that was formed in 1993.

Not successful on radio charts, but praised by critics, Nothingface from D.C. has churned out many good songs in their five or so albums. Some might say they aren't nu metal because they don't rap, but they are well worth checking out regardless. Violence is my favorite album.

2 40 Below Summer

A brilliant nu metal band, bringing an awesome spin to the metal and to the rap. Five albums, the newest being Fire at Zero Gravity which came out last year. Just listen to Step into the Sideshow or Endorphins.

3 Flaw

Chris Volz has an amazing voice. Worth checking out the entire Through The Eyes album, especially Payback and Amendment. I think the band is back together with it's original lineup.

4 Ultraspank

Only two albums, but still totally fun to listen to. It's sad they broke up when they did.

5 American Head Charge American Head Charge is an industrial metal band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. The band has earned two nominations at the Kerrang!
6 Unloco Unloco is an American nu-metal band that gained prominence in the early 2000s. Originating from Austin, Texas, the band is characterized by its heavy guitar riffs, anguished lyrics, and elements of alternative rock. Though they disbanded in 2003, Unloco had a significant impact during their active years, releasing two studio albums and touring with renowned bands like Korn and Soulfly.

Only two albums which failed to chart, but they are still worth it. Listen to Face Down

7 Primer 55 Primer 55 is an American nu-metal band from Louisville, Kentucky. The band's name originates from the combination of "Primer," meaning "something that's unfinished," and "55," which refers to Interstate 55, "the road that drugs run on to get to Chicago through Memphis."

Closer to rap metal instead of nu metal but still very heavy. Listen to Loose.

Only one album with a small hit single "No Light". Their singer Jim Korthe died in 2010 R.I.P.
