In high school he excelled in 3 sports, Football, Basketball and Baseball. In that MVP year of '62 he stole 104 bases to set a new Major League Baseball record, 5 more than any Major League Baseball team that year. Maury Wills, a legend for all times, and a good case for him to go to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
