Best Ohio State Football Coaches
1. Woody Hayes: Even though he is not of my era, Woody is the best. 5 National Championships, 13 Big Ten Titles, 5 Bowl victories and 205 wins. 16-11-1 vs TTUN.
2. Jim Tressel: 1 National Championship, 7 Big Ten Titles, 6 Bowl wins and 106 games won. 9-1 vs TTUN
3. Urban Meyer: So far 1 National Championship, 1 Big Ten Championship, 3 Division Titles, 2 Bowl wins, and 38 games won. 3-0 vs TTUN.
4. Earl Bruce: This is a tough one for me. I admire Earl Bruce the man and the great Buckeye that he is. But he was 9-3 Earl. That was in ways the low point era for Buckeye football(I would add John Cooper's first 5 years, bowl record and TTUN record) over the past 45 years. 4 Big Ten Championships, 5 Bowl wins and 81 games won. 5-4 vs TTUN.
5. Paul Brown: 1 National Championship, 1 Big Ten Championship and 27 games won. 1-1-1 vs TTUN
Woody is an insain human... But there is still none of these coaches that even come close to being better that Paul "Bear" Bryant.
Bucks have had some greats! But I think you have to rank Woody as #1
Five (5) National Champ's and Woody is NOT the GREATEST? Come on!
We will never forget the 2014 season!
First Buckeye Coach that had a winning record vs UM. Started the Gold Pants tradition and elevated the program to new heights.
