Genius story line that would put a real detective to work. This show is like a strategic chess game played out on a global scale. Furthermore the protagonist is the bad guy. Simply put this show really is unlike any other show.

Greatest anime I've ever watched. I was seriously impressed by Death Note's uniqueness. It's definitely a must-watch for not just anime fans, but everyone in general

Magnificent story of two geniuses. After watching this show, my anime standards went up really high. There's only a few that can challenge Death Note's ingenuity.

A protagonist with such a mindset especially in a slice of life anime is very rare to see.

Why isn't this number one? Everything about it is unique and original and especially it's characters.
