Top 10 Most Overated Christmas Movies and Specials
Before anyone says anything just remember overrated doesn't mean bad, and as always most of these Christmas movies or specials are bad just get way more recognition then they deserve.
This movie has been so overplayed they even run an entire marathon of it on Christmas day, a good movie but the mount of merchandising it has is ridicules.
This movie is not even that great in my opinion
I have never liked this film.
Good special but a little dated by today standards and a lot of the characters are total douches towards Rudolf and Hermie but they do realize the errors of their ways and learn to accept them if only the SJW's would realize that instead of deeming it as offense claiming it promotes bullying which is ridicules.
Will Ferrell, the comedian that gets tiresome very fast in my brutally honest opinion, don't remember laughing once and just got annoyed during most of the running time. Sorry.
Loved this movie but is still overrated.
Hasn't aged well like the other Christmas specials.
What the name of the little girl who befriends Frosty had come to mean has diminished the appeal
I like it but I really wouldn't call it a great special, the entire special has Donkey constantly annoying Shrek about Christmas coming up and Shrek at the last second tries to set up a perfect Christmas for his family using a book on how to make a perfect Christmas and as expected things go wrong when and Donkey, Puss and the rest if the fairy tail gang barge in uninvited and take over Shrek's Christmas and while Shrek tries to make the best of things he becomes fed up after they ruin everything and throws them out and Fiona is upset at Shrek for throwing them out even though none of them were actually invited in the first place, and of course Shrek finally comes around apologizing for the way he acted and admiring that he never actually celebrated Christmas before and they all make things right.
More like Elmo ruins Christmas, after pulling Santa out of the chimney after getting stuck Santa rewards him with a magic globe that grants 3 wishes (what can possibly go wrong) Elmo of course wishes for Christmas everyday after and quickly finds out what a horrible mistake as Santa with help from one of his reindeer Lightning shows him as they fast forward to the future and see why Christmas everyday is bad as Elmo see's the negative effects his wish has on everyone in Sesame Street then fast forward to a year later to find that everyone now hates the holiday however Oscar the Grouch is the only is happy that everyone is so happy so Elmo gathers everyone around and tells them that he was the one who wished for Christmas everyday and every is of course upset with him but revels that he still has one more wish left and plans to use it to end the Christmas nightmare and of course it breaks leaving it Christmas forever as everyone is left upset until the special pulls a Superman the ...more
It's on here because people believe it's a Christmas movie at all...yeah, no. Awesome, but NOT a Christmas movie.
My family watches this every Christmas.
I hate that film.
