Patrick Star is probably my favorite cartoon idiot. He is really funny. Not only before the first movie. Patrick is also a good friend to Spongebob and Sandy. Sure, his stupidity has gone too far in some episodes in Season 6-8, but the lovable idiot we know him as, never disappeared. Patrick has been consistently in character since late Season 8. Wish people would stop bash him solely because of a few appearances. Some of them aren't even that bad. - Svampbob164
Hell no! He's selfish, jerky, annoying, stupid, and overrated! - DCfnaf
Patrick has one of the most God awful hatedoms of all time. He deserves better. - ShadowHawk18

2 Starlight Glimmer
Starlight Glimmer is a recurring character, initially an antagonist, in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She first appears in the season 5 premiere, The Cutie Map. From The Cutie Re-Mark - Part 2 to Celestial Advice, she is Twilight Sparkle's student in the ways of friendship.
Starlight isn't overhated, she's overrated. Her fans must be dumb to not see how much of a bad character she is. She's even worse than Rey from Star Wars, as not only is she OP for no reason and made to look better than she's supposed to but also feels like a completely different character when reformed than as a villain. Starlight even got in the way of the remane five's potential (especially Applejack at this point), ruining the show.
Season 6 of MLP really made me warm up to her. Now in season 7, she's better than ever. Even now, she's still unfairly hated by half of the fans. - TexasBro93

3 Mr. Krabs (SpongeBob SquarePants)

Just like Patrick, Mr. Krabs has a horrible hatedom too. - ShadowHawk18
He...drove another character to suicide. That's a fair reason to hate a character. - DCfnaf
Squidward nearly bullied Spongebob to suicide and refused to thank him for saving his life. Beat that! - Svampbob164
Season 6-8 ruined him bring back seaon 1-4 Krabs

6 SpongeBob SquarePants
SpongeBob SquarePants is a fictional character and the titular character and protagonist of the American animated television series of the same name.
When the main character of the show (especially someone like Spongebob) is underrated, something is really wrong. Spongebob is one of the nicest cartoon characters out there. And also one of the happiest. Spongebob is a true role model. Always happy and cheerful. Learn from Spongebob, not Squidward!
So why is Spongebob here? People think he's annoying and purposely making Squidward miserable, which is certainly not true! Spongebob is never trying to making Squidward miserable! And he is certainly not foolish enough to believe his beloved snail Gary would not be in trouble!
Spongebob is a good friend to Patrick and Sandy and takes good care of Gary! - Svampbob164
Why are you such a Spongebob hater? He DOES take care of Gary. And Squidward did have happy memories, thanks to Spongebob! Remember Band Geeks and House Fancy? - Svampbob164

A character that actually DESERVES to be on this list! (Seriously, why is Patrick number one? ). She is outshines by Bubbles. - DCfnaf
I agree, she is outshined by Bubbles. She gets so much hate just for doing a mistake. I would hate her if she enjoyed seeing good people suffer, but she does not enjoy that. Bubbles is a good character, but she is overrated and not as enjoyable. I actually find Buttercup more enjoyable because I can both relate to her and she is funny, and barely plays a victim and tries to make others feel bad for her and like her.
Very misunderstood, and gets too much undeserved hate.
