Ignoring the massive amount of human rights violation and politics, the government at least tried to make China safe for people.
The people in China can be really nice people. It's the government that sucks. The worst thing is that China is currently punishing their citizens for having coronavirus or mourning the death of someone who died of the virus. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but it's suspicious how SARS started in China in 2003, and SARS 2 started in China AGAIN. And how suspicious the government is acting about the virus.
