I don't think Hercule should be considered the most overhated as I think a lot of his hate is well deserving (not all of it but quite a bit). Yamcha on the other hand is just regarded as weak and pathetic even though he is being compared to the likes of Saiyans and maybe Krillin. That's like comparing a juicy tender steak with a nice cut of meat seasoned perfectly made by a chef that took 10 years in culinary school to a nicely prepared grilled hamburger with the melted cheese on top. On the everyday level that hamburger with cheese is appreciated though if you get that steak everyday that burger means nothing.

People are being needlessly cruel this fictional character who is among the most sympathetic characters in the franchise. All this happened because he happened to lose against a stupid alien who had the ability to blow up. No one knew the saibamen was explosive. Yamcha does not need to be the strongest but he doesen't need this annoying status he has today.

I really like Yamcha. I don't hate characters for being weak, they just need to try their best and that's fine by me. Yamcha is a good friend, and he tried his best to help. What's wrong with that?

Yamcha is not only the hottest DBZ male character, he's also the best DBZ character in general!

I love Goten so much. Why do people think that he's weak? He's stronger than Goku and Gohan were at his age, and WHY do people deem him 'useless' but not Kid Trunks?

Yeah pan is very amazing and yeah non canon so it doesn't count and Pan is very amazing cute as a baby and a kid as well.

She's an average character at best. Has annoying moments, but also has cool moments

I really like Videl. She's annoying at first, but she has gotten better. Now she's a really great character.

This guy might be weak but he proved himself to be very powerful. Also his dodging over the attacks when he surrender is pretty seems good.

I actually like Mr. Satan. Sure he was annoying at first, but I grew to like him.

Many people seem to dislike him after the Cell saga because of his slacking off in training and the stupid Great Saiyaman thingy, but I think it's only natural, considering his pacific nature. He's my second favourite DBZ character of all time!

Bulma's one of my favourite anime characters of all time! She may be spoilt and a little annoying at times, but she is, along with Goku, the two most important DBZ characters.

Yeah, I don't think she's hated that much at all. She's got many Vegeta fans behind her since Vegebul is so popular.

It seems like the hatred for her come from people who refuse to see what she gets dealt on the daily and their projections of their favorite characters, namely Gohan (when he still ended up being what they want him to be, he is just never written back into that, from Toriyama's own perception of HIS character), that they claim she "ruins".

How would you feel if your spouse doesn't provide for the family and refuses to work basically forcing the family to live on welfare (in this case it's her father's inheritance)? Of course, this is never empathized since battle shonen 101 and we're supposed to not think of Goku as a bad family man.

People also only look at the fact she made Gohan study and overlook the fact that she's the reason Gohan ended up being a well-mannered and attentive man who's actually there for his family plus Piccolo's harshness in the beginning of the series made him all so grown up for his age (which he later apologized for). She's annoying. Bulma, Android #18, Videl, Pan,... are much better. And Akira Toriyama has even said so himself : Goku cares about everyone equally. She forced Goku to marry her so she can't complain that she has to do this and that and Goku's always training... She has already known that Goku is a fighter, yet she still forced him to marry her. That happens when you marry someone you barely knows. No-one cares that she's hated, she deserves the hate.

She's so stupid though and anyone who thinks Goku loves her as a wife is delusional. Goku cares about everyone equally. Chichi means as much to him as Yamcha.

Not that anyone cares. Chi Chi doesn't bring anything to the show. Toriyama hates writing her. The only female character he likes is Bulma.

You know this perslam's view on love is messed up. If it was only aware of what love should be it could be less hated. Sorry for those who are runnin' scared.

Hey was a annoying evil not caring person for the most of the Dragon Ball Z and caused a lot of trouble for the gang. However he improved overtime from being simply a jerk to become one of the most respectful, and appreciated characters of all aimes.
