Top Ten Overhated SpongeBob SquarePants Episodes
All they had to do was edit out the scene were plankton lays down on the street and nobody would even talk about this episode.
Like that guy said, the episode would be mediocre at worst without Plankton trying to kill himself.
Nowhere near the worst SpongeBob episode like so many people will claim.
House Fancy is the first season 6 episode from the TV series “Spongebob Squarepants”. In this episode, Squidward tries to make his house fancy so he could beat his rival at making a fancy house and Spongebob comes along to help.
This episode is infamous for "the toenail scene" where Squidward gets his toenail ripped out while SpongeBob is moving his couch. Seriously, You guys need to stop hating on this episode, Squidward Wins in the end, And I give this episode major points for doing that, And people really hate the toenail, personally, I've never been bothered by it
To me, This is the most Overhated Episode
The toenail scene was only like 11 seconds long, And yet people act like it happened the whole episode. I personally didn't find the toenail scene that bad anyway.
I get that people hate the toenail scene but other than that I thought the episode was good squidward wins in the end and squillian had a really cool house too

A Pal for Gary is very overhated. It's not an irredeemable episode, just badly executed. It could actually have been better!

This episode is really good it is my 3rd favorite epidodes in season 5.Its funny and creative and the patcy bits are good.Some of the songs were bad but most were good and the different animation was great!

Before seeing this episode, I came in expecting an abysmal episode that made me want to grit my teeth from start to end. What I recieved was actually a much higher quality then I thought, and left me scratching my head about what people found so bad about it. This episode starts of with a pleasent sequence of Patrick desperately trying to fix his house for his parents. It's a funny scene and starts the episode off by stating the conflict, and Spongebob's plan. Soon after, we're shown the problem in Patrick's perspective, as the "Parents" treat him like a child. Spongebobb arrives, and we're treated to some more jokes about idiocy before Patrick begins to hurt Spongebob's feelings when it goes too far. Now, Patrick isn't an idol in this episode. Far from it in fact. However, Patrick isn't saying this because he hates his friend and likes insulting him. He's acting like a jerk because he finally gets what he had wanted for so long from being mean to Spongebob, and he becomes too ...more

Good Neighbors is an extremely overhated. It's one of my favorite post-season episodes. I think people need to calm down a bit when it comes to Squidward torture, because while in most of the post-movie Squidward torture episodes, SpongeBob and Patrick ruin everything for Squidward, they were just trying to make his day better. In my top ten post-movie episodes list the first seven episodes of the post-movie era (Fear of a Krabby Patty, Shell of a Man, The Lost Mattress, Krabs vs. Plankton, Have You Seen This Snail? , Skill Crane, and of course, Good Neighbors) fill up most of the list, and the remaining three spots are taken by three more Season 4 episodes.
I know it's an unpopular opinion.. but I find this episode hilarious! The way Squidward reacts to SpongeBob's and Patrick's stupidity is hilarious to me.
I'm SO GLAD this is #1. A lot of people hate this episode, saying it isn't funny and it's just Squid Torture. It IS Squid Torture, but it's Squid Torture done right. This episode is very funny. Same with Tentacle Vision. People hate that episode because it's Squid Torture, but it's actually one of the funniest post movie Spongebob episodes, so it's Squid Torture done right, and I can't see why people hate it.
Yeah. Good Neighbours had me laughing my head off (figuratively) when I first saw it. I can see why people might hate it, because of Squidward having a bad experience and all, but it's not that bad at all. (I almost died laughing at the "paper monster" scene.)

SpongeBob's Truth or Square is a 2009 made-for-television comedy special and an hour-long episode of the American animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants Disappointing, but if it wasn't the 10 year anniversary it actually wouldn't be that bad.
I do hate the Pink song though.
