Top Ten Most Overhated Things in Life
Lots of people hate life and overhate a lot of certain things in life. Some people overhate on things so much that they commit suicide because of how much people hate these things. But they are overhated a lot so I made this list. So you might think this is a rehash on DarkBoi-X's most recent list about exaggerated things but it's really not. I had this list draft a few days ago and it's simply a coincidence. But here you go
I'll politely say that I'm one of the few users here who hasn't said anything about hating school. I hate the current education system, but that's a different story. While I do know that homeschooling is possible, you can only do so much without much resources to back up your learning. School is also the first area of a formal social environment without your parents. Yeah, there's bad people of all ages there, topics that don't suit you and occasional boredom, but school is pretty important in more ways than one. There's a time where you will have to learn social and emotional conventions without your parents or family around, and school is arguably the most accessible area for that as a child.
There's both pros and cons of school, so let's over some of them.
Pros: Teaches you how to write, communicate, and to get along with others.
Cons: You learn useless garbage like Geoemetry, some of the stuff you won't even use, you don't learn useful stuff like taxes, grades are stressful as hell, homework will wear you down, and etc.
Not exactly, a good thing to force people into to be completely honest.
I agree completely, there's so many great novels that people haven't read. And to the guy who said it was like watching a show, it's not. Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to watch every single episode of a show to appreciate it-for example, most older shows where there is no continuous plot, as well as cartoons in general. And in some cases, it may even be impossible to see every episode due to the show's long lifespan-Gunsmoke and Simpsons fall into this category nicely. On the other hand, if you were to pick up, say, War and Peace and try to understand what's happening from a random page, you wouldn't be able to.
The reasons people hate reading are similar to the reason that people don't want to watch T.V. shows or Korean dramas. It is a big commitment. Take Stephen King's It Novel that is over 1,000 pages, think about how much time that would take to read through let's say you can read 30 pages in an hour that that is nearly a day and a half you are committing to it. It is a dumb reason but humans aren't the most rational people, we don't need a good reason to hate something just a reason. We should have a good reason mind you
I don't mind reading in fact I occasionally will read. However I cannot stand when teachers shove novels and Shakespeare Down our throats. I get they want us to read and understand it but honestly it just turns me off from reading in general. And don't get me started on summer reading.

Most people nowadays prefer movies and video games because it's easier to feel action and epicness. But once you read a book you will realize that it will cause you to get even more creative as you must visualize everything, unless it's a book with pictures. This is what I love about reading as you can visualize yourself the settings and colours
Bullies hate autistic people because they think we are all dumb yet they are dumb themselves for thinking that. They act like people with autism are dumber than Patrick Star. Most people with autism are smart people. People need to stop making fun of autistic people. By the way I have autism.
As someone who has autism, that hate on autism really hurts me. You know what, haters?! People with autism and other disorders are more smart than you will ever be!

This movie is overhated by mostly boys just because it was popular and everywhere and the songs were overplayed. The haters call it the worst movie of all time when most of them have not even seen the movie and they just assume it's bad because it's girly and popular. There are way worse movies out there.
Now I understand why this is overhated on this website. Probably because they thought the songs were annoying.
Frozen shouldn't be hated it is a pretty descent movie with one really amazing song, but we shouldn't hate something just because of our societies tendency to grap onto popular things and beat it to the ground
I made a post about them where I explained more but sensitive people are really way too overhated to be honest. Everyone sees them as the same hypersensitive guy who can't take jokes although it's much more complex than that. It's why I made a post about them in the first place because they are way too overhated
Seeing that literally every human being is over sensitive it does seem like a dumb thing for people to hate, it is pretty much you unknowingly or perhaps knowingly saying that you hate yourself, which should be the one person you shouldn't hate

He is in fact more hated than dictators that killed millions of people like Adolf Hitler. I wish Justin Bieber never existed just so I don't have to hear about people complaining about him. I think people are so overly sensitive. This item has to be number 1 immediately!
His haters (lots of people on this site) trash talk about him in almost every list that they are making him overrated. I don't like him but come on he is not the worst thing on the planet.

It's fine if you're like 6-7 years old but 10-13 year olds? That's ridiculous. At 10-13 you shouldn't be watching those shows to begin with and you shouldn't even care about them. Try focusing on something more important
T.V. shows like Barney, Caillou, Dora, and Peppa Pig are extremely overhated by people who are to old to enjoy them.
They're overhated, but some are fun to make fun of. Peppa Pig especially.
Why are baby show's hated, their just show's for kids, sure it might get annoying if your a parent with a child, but it serves to educate and entertain
Common sense isn't the issue, but this group mentality thinking is, so many like to see an issue as a black and white issue ignoring that it is a gray issue, where both sides usually have some legitimate points under their illegitimate points
Babies and toddlers can be annoying, but there's nothing to hate about them honestly. They're at a very early developmental state and are unable to grasp almost every concept that we're familiar with, so there's nothing to be angry on them about. There's a reason why raising an infant and a toddler is a challenge for parents, but at the same time, its one of the most meaningful and essential virtues one can experience.
I am very mixed about babies. I don't think they're awful, but I don't think they're that good either. The hate on babies is hitting way below the belt, though! Even though I am more of a animal lover (humans aren't animals in my opinion), the hate on babies needs to stop. They're not THAT bad.
I feel like people hate babies for among the most pathetic of reasons in my opinion. I mean sure they shriek a lot and do things they aren't allowed to do but they have small brains and they will learn things as time goes by. It's life, to learn from your mistakes.
Yeah, they are humans. Babies can't grow up without their moms and dads raising them which is why infants need loving care from parents. Sure, they cry a lot and it gets annoying. These little creatures in diapers have to be watched over.
Vegetables is something a lot of people hate, because it's neither sweet or that salt either. However lots of people think all vegetables are the same but there's a wide variety really. I mean I hate most vegetables as well, but I love carrots, spinach and pepper, the last one which is the only one I really love though
I don't think people actually hate vegetables, that is mostly just kids that do, they just don't like it as much as the foods that have more flavor.

Pop music actually does deserve to be overhated. Modern pop music, that is. Classic pop music doesn't deserve hate. I mean, classic pop has Michael Jackson, while modern pop has drunken prostitutes like Ariana Grande.
There's only a bit that I can tolerate hearing. It's not quite as bad as some make it seem

Sex is the full reason we are all here. I mean sure I still hate porn because I still don't understand what's so comfortable about seeing two persons doing their thing, but I won't go too much into it. Sex on the other hand is one of the best things to humanity in reality
The issue with sex isn't about the the evolution aspect of it but more about having it for pleasure, or same sex love, or orgies and the possibility of contracting a STD.

It's overhated? I thought people have seen it as a big deal and would often mock people who are virgins so, I don't really think sex is 'overhated'.

Yeah, you read that correct. Being overrated is not a bad thing in any way. Plus, I have news. If you hate them for getting past Pewdiepie, you should be hating Pewdiepie because he surpassed Smosh.
B. They "subbot".
Please give me proof to your point. Other than "because Pewdiepie said it" because he's probably lying. If you're gonna ask how I know they're not botting, guess what? The channel has over 78 billion views, so it's not a surprise there are 107 million subscribers, okay?
C. You cannot understand a word in their content.
This is an Indian channel, not an English channel. It's not content for people who don't understand Indian language. If you were Indian you would probably like it.

I mean I hate it as well, in fact I censor swear words because I don't like using them, but people overhate and overexaggerate about it. I mean after all it's mostly just words, and not that bad either. It's when they are used in sentences it kinda becomes a problem, but it's still overhated. And if you hurt yourself really bad cussing is good to be fair
They're just words. If you can't handle them, you deserve to be locked in a room and have Siri shout them at you for an hour.
I'm okay if you use it to an extent, but every other word just doesn't make sense to me.

It's a complex music genre about rapping meaningful things and it's definitely one of the more complex and skillful music genres. And we're talking about real rap. Lil' Pump and Tekashi aren't real rappers to be honest
Modern rap music deserves to be overhated just like modern pop music. And like classic pop music, classic rap music is not worth hating on, as it's amazing.
It is just music, what is popular isn't necessarily great music just catchy music and a lot of modern rap has gotten mixed with pop to get easy money rather than to make good music, in the end it is about making money, you can either make good music and struggle or make music that is proven to make money, which one would you choose
I can't stand this awful genre however some artists are talented I will admit.
Lots of people including myself prefer writing on computer because it's faster and easier, and writing on paper can take a lot of time. However writing on paper isn't all that bad when you think about it. You can choose how your letters are going to look like and something about writing on paper feels charming

Cyberbullying is variable, but it can sometimes stretch onto the real-life if taken too far. While yes, you can block and ban bullies, you can't really stop them from doing what they like. Furthermore, spreading an offensive rumor about someone can potentially go way out of hand and eventually become real-life bullying as well.
And yes, cyberbullies are pathetically spineless, considering they want to assert dominance and harassment digitally and thinking if using the internet could help them in bullying in that regard.

Now while it certainly is real, people do overhate on it a lot because it's not nearly as bad as real-life bullying. Real-life bullying to an extent is worse, and while both things have their ups and downs, cyberbullying is heavily overhated. I mean at least cyberbullies can be blocked off even if it's not always effective and they can't do as much damage to you to an extent. I find the cyberbullies themselves in a way worse than real-life bullies, because cyberbullies choose to cyberbully because of cowardly reasons because they know no one can do anything to them, while real-life bullies can at least be reported if it's at school or beaten up otherwise (even though I am pacifist). Basically, cyberbullIES are worse as people, but real-life bullYING is worse as harassment
I would say cyberbullying is actually worse than bullying, bullying sucks, but you survive it is like an annoying right of passage that everyone deals with and expects, but with cyberbullying people of all ages are sharing their opinions and people will relentlessly attack for said opinion, some may even DOX people, some may call a bomb threat at a person that hate house, etc.

Woudn't call it overhated as cyberbullying is still mean and rude, but it's easier to deal with as real life bullying. The worst thing about cyberbullying is that people can talk behind your back on the Internet.
Since we have religion, atheism should also be put on this list, they get attack and called names just because the don't believe in a God that can't be proven like it is the most craziest thing in the world.
Just because your God can't be proven is no reason to demonize those that don't believe and act like they only reason they don't is because the want to "sin"
Honestly I'm Christian but seriously leave these people alone! Not everyone wants to become Christian or join any religion for that matter. If they don't want to be a part of religion then so be it. Let them do what they want as long as they don't attack people who are religious

Not a fan of him, I personally view him as a mediocre businessman. But, I think that some people go a bit overboard with their hatred of him. He's nothing like Hitler, but at the same time I think the praise for him is also over-exaggerated. He's done some decent things, but so has any president really. Any president, we've had has done good and bad things. Doesn't make him special, but calling him "evil" seems like one hell of a stretch.
The hatebase is much more annoying than the fanbase. They just say it sucks without giving reasoning most of the time. It's a very overrated game, but seriously that doesn't mean that the game sucks or that it's the worst game ever.
