2 New York City, New York The City of New York, often called New York City or simply New York, is the most populous city in the United States. New York City is also the most densely populated major city in the United States.

Honestly New York is more overhyped than any other city in North America I believe. But it's not bad. I like NYC as much as the next person, but I kind of wish that the not as popular states get hype too like mine. The state where I live in is the state where James Dean, Michael Jackson, AND Orville Redenbacher (the popcorn guy) are from and these are just a few examples. (Yeah I kinda gave away which state I live in, but I'm probably going to move to another one for college in like 5 years so...yeah. Also yes unfortunately Jake Short and I are from the same state but since I don't care about him then this doesn't really bother me.). All I'm saying is that while yes cities like NYC and LA should get hype maybe other towns and states should get some love too.
