People are just bored of it, because yep it is 30 years old.
From 80s shorts to 90s look on Simpsons archive reviews people don't call the episodes the greatest but nowadays the 90s are called the greatest and nowadays called The Simpsons suck because its old, it will probably be around for a long time.

Running out of ideas and you can't blame them about that, it's gone on for nearly 30 years, but sometime it's just gonna have to end.

It was great, awesome, funny, but it's dragging on and on now.
