Top 10 Most Overrated Animated Dreamworks Movies
How To Train Your Dragon 3 is coming out in less than a year now, I am certainly anticipated, it's made by Dreamworks, one of the greatest animation studios. But some of their movies are really overrated, and get more praise than they really deserve, here are the most overrated ones.
It's a great movie, but no the best one of the series, that would go to Shrek The Third and Shrek 2.
It killed the meme community. I'm getting rid of my Shrek merchandise and Bee Movie disc.

I respect your opinion,but this is actually the worst movie of all time(in my opinion).
Back in 2016, I LOVED the Madagascar series. Well, time changes. Madagascar recieves TOO MUCH praise, and most of the praise goes to the first and third one, my least favourite ones. The first one in particular is not that good. The adult jokes were REALLY immature. And the characters all seemed mediocre. Melman is just a comic relief character, Alex is a show-off, Marty is an immature zebra and Gloria is hippo that mostly appeals to pervents. I especially hate the fact they added the horrible "I Like To Move It" song. It's not only ugly, but disgusting. Something I will give this movie credit is that the plot is VERY original to say the least. But other than that. A really overrated movie like it's sequels.
Nostalgia makes you think this movie is better than it is. Hate the lion but love the other characters

Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted. The third one in the franchise, while not as terrible as the first one, still earns some hatred from me. I don't really see why it's so praised either, first off, circus animals do NOT belong to a movie with zoo animals, second off, the new characters are annoying too. Something I will give it credit for is that it at least doesn't have the horrible song the first ones had. I wasn't a fan of the plot either. I loved the villian though, she was awesomne!
Maybe this is just me, or is the sequel to How To Train Your Dragon a bit dull. I thought the plot was too simialar to the disney movie Atlantis, and... I think it's just bias since I grew up with the first one, but this one just doesn't hold up for me.
I love this franchise. My one gripe is that Hiccup's voice annoys the guts out of me
This movie has made SO MUCH merchandise it's not believable. It's pretty much Dreamworks' Frozen, but less overrated. But I din't think it was THAT good. Sure, it was really colorful, but the main character was childish and the singing and dancing was horrible. And the scene were Poppy manages to turn almost all bergens nice was definitely taken from Shrek The Third. It just wasn't THAT original.
I excpected it to be one of my favourite Dreamworks movies. But at the end, it felt bland and not that good. The main characters, Tulio and Miguel wants to get to the golden city El Dorado, but the people there mistake them for gods, so what happens? We have to see the characters do a bunch of things and the villian tries to get rid of them and a love interst for Tulio. Nah, not something I would reccomend. If you wand to see a 2d Dreamworks movie, go watch Sinbad instead.
It is like the Iron Giant. It is overrated because SO many people call it underrated. (But I adore The Iron Giant)
Seriously, I HATE the fact that there's twerking in the movie, like seriously, Dreamworks! What were you thinking! You decided to add twerking in a kids movie! Like wow stupid can it get?
I used to be a part of the Jack fanbase and I regret it.
Good movie. But not their best.
Underrated. But yeah, the fanbase sucks. I still think it is the studio's best.
I've seen ths movie get more love recently, I like the movie, but itäs not THAT good, also, the Jack Frost fanbase is so cringe!
I think it's a pretty good movie, but not that good for it to earn a T.V. show!
It was easly the weakest of the franchise, even though it was still decent, the plot is my main problem with this movie, it's rehashed and over all unoriginal.
This should be higher!
