Top Ten Overrated Bands that are Famous for Only One Song

Criteria: Overrated bands that have one song that is so famous, that (nearly) all other songs from that band get overshadowed. Some people who claim to like one of these bands, only have listened to THAT one song, mostly because that song is highly overrated and/or overplayed.

2 Black Veil Brides Black Veil Brides is an American rock band currently consisting of Andy Biersack (vocals), Jinxx (guitar), Jake Pitts (guitar), Christian Coma (drums) and Ashley Purdy (bass), that formed in 2006 in Ohio. In the beginning of their career, the band was heavily associated with the emo subculture, and had strong metalcore, screamo and alternative influences, however got more metal oriented over the years. Their songs usually carry a message of acceptance, believing in yourself and being individual and different. Among their most well known songs are "Knives and Pens", "Rebel Love Song", "In the End" and "Fallen Angels".

You mean knives and pens, which sucked in a lot of ways sadly. The worst guitar playing of a well known song I've heard.

3 Europe Europe is a Swedish rock band formed in Upplands Väsby, Stockholm in 1979 under the name Force by vocalist Joey Tempest, guitarist John Norum, bassist Peter Olsson and drummer Tony Reno.

I agree they have one big hit but I don't see how are they overrated. They have pretty good songs nobody knows.

The Final Countdown wasn't even their highest charting hit, that would be "Carrie"

Just listening to that song makes me want to cut myself so I don't have to hear it.

Ummm, Centuries, Light 'em Up, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, Dance Dance, sugar We're Going Down, not to meantion countless other popular songs.

They are overrated, yeah but they have better songs like Car Radio or Ruby.
