Well, this show is'nt a rip-off of The Simpsons though. The show was inspired by any sitcom animation. Sitcom animation has the same formula as The Simpsons. And The Simpsons did'nt owned the sitcom animation, this genre was owned by The Flintstones. Every sitcom cartoon has the same formula. But I don't think Family Guy and The Simpsons are rip-offs but they are similiar but have difference to make it original. Do you think The Simpsons have a talking dog and a talking baby? Does Homer and Ned are friends unlike Griffin and Quagmire are friends?
