Top 10 Most Overrated Grunge and Post-Grunge Singers

The Top Ten
1 Kurt Cobain Kurt Cobain was born February 20, 1967, in Aberdeen, Washington. In 1987, he started the grunge band Nirvana, which became one of the most successful bands ever. He was a talented yet troubled grunge performer. Kurt Cobain became a rock legend in the 1990s with his band. He committed suicide at his Seattle home in 1994.

Kurt Cobain isn't overrated. Seriously talented dude becuase the way he sang was so empathetic, so dang passionate and Kurt had a propensity to make that guitar scream with ferociousness and sound so bloody amazing, but then occasionally pull out a ballad at the turn of switch. He played simple, but very, very effective music. Kurt's not fake/contrived like the Scott Stapp's and Chad Kroger's of this world. They're overrated.

2 Chris Cornell Christopher John "Chris" Cornell was an American rock musician and singer-songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist, primary songwriter and rhythm guitarist for Seattle rock band Soundgarden and as former lead vocalist and songwriter for the supergroup Audioslave. His vocal range was C2 to A5, while his highest notes went up to G6. He died on May 17, 2017.

I don't think he is overrated - he's always listed 4th after Kurt Cobain, Eddie Vedder and Layne. But to me Chris and Layne are the best grunge/post-grunge singers. By the best I mean they are the singers with the best vocal skills and most singing talent.
