Top Ten Overrated Hoenn Pokemon
The Hoenn region has plenty of Pokémon both good and bad. But some get too much attention.NOTE: This does not mean these Pokémon are bad. I like all of the Pokémon on this list apart from Regigigas.
Rayquaza (pronounced "ray-quay-zah") is a Dragon/Flying type Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. It serves as the mascot in the game Pokémon Emerald. Rayquaza can mega evolve into Mega Rayquaza provided that it does not have a Z-Crystal and it knows the move "Dragon Ascent". According to the Pokédex, it lives in the ozone layer, and frequently stops battles with Kyogre and Groudon, two other Legendaries. I hate rayquaza, because of how overrated it is and it's mega evolution is NOW MEGA OVERRATED! Rabid fans, obsess over it and I beat a lot of rayquzas easily in pokemon showdown with a focus sash haxorus. Well poor my poor haxorus, is overshadowed by this, garchomp, flygon, salamence(I still like salamence though) and a few others. Lets sum it up, I used to love rayqueza, but it's fanbase went too far and in the end I had to dislike it. I now hate it today
Don't get me wrong, I love Rayquaza and it is extremely powerful, but the amount of fans for this thing are insane!
Groudon, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. Good Pokemon, but overrated.
Flygon, known in Japan as Flygon, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. People obsses over him because he's a Dragon-Ground type, but he only learns one Dragon-type move, DragonBreath, and the attack is very weak!
Mudkip, known in Japan as Mizugorou, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. This is actually my favorite Pokemon. He was my first and Hoenn is the region I have the most nostalgia for. I usually say Swampert is my favorite, but I really love the whole line. I ecen have a Mudkip plush!
I just don't get it, Sceptile and Blaziken are so cool, but Swampert? Nah. Mega Swampert is even uglier than Qwilfish, and, #BIDOOFSBOSS
I love Mudkip, and it's my favorite of the Hoenn starters, but even I have to admit that it's overrated.
The memes are annoying as hell and I just prefer torchic over mudkip.
Gardevoir is a third-generation Pokémon species originally introduced as a Psychic type creature in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. Gardevoir is another one of my favorites, but the fanbase. Oh the fanbase.

Regigigas, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. This thing isn't even that powerful. Also, Slow Start.
Blaziken, known in Japan as Bashāmo, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. I love blaziken, but I do agree it's overrated.
Banette, known in Japan as Juppeta, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. Yes, it's cool. Yes, it's a Ghost type. And yes, it does have a Mega. See what I mean?
Absol is a fictional creature in the Pokémon franchise. It was first introduced in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. It later gained a Mega Evolution in Pokemon X and Y and Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Absol Overrated? Absol's is under appreciated in my opinion.
Absol is powerful, so is it's Mega. And it's cute as well as cool.
Absol is one of my favourites, but a lot of people admire this quite a lot.
Latias, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. The Eon duo have gotten a lot of praise since the release of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and even before that.
Milotic, known in Japan as Milokaross, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. Yes, it's beautiful. But saying it's the most beautiful Pokemon is a bit of a stretch.
It's beautiful? yes It's the most beautiful pokemon? No. Xerneas, primarina, ninetales(Especially alola form), shiny umbreon and absol, are much more elegant than milotic

Aggron, known in Japan as Bossgodora, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. Very good tank, but seriously, why so many fans? It looks like some rocks that grew horns and eyes.
