He has an unique and specific singing voice, but as people talking about him, he definitely get way too much credits... - somekindofaguy

Let's just say he can play but can't sing - SoldierOfFortune

It’s not his fault majority of his fans are crying fanboys that can’t handle any criticism of their master.

14 Jon Bon Jovi Jon Bon Jovi John Francis Bongiovi, Jr., known as Jon Bon Jovi, is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, philanthropist, and actor, best known as the founder and frontman of rock band Bon Jovi, which was formed in 1983. Not a metal musician.

15 Zakk Wylde Zakk Wylde Zakk Wylde is an American musician, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and occasional actor who is best known as the former guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne, and founder of the heavy metal band Black Label Society.
16 Dead Dead Per Yngve Ohlin, better known by his stage name Dead, was a Swedish black/death metal vocalist and lyricist best known for his work with Norwegian black metal band Mayhem.

I know a lot of metalheads like Mayhem, but they only had a few obscure EXTREMELY lo-fi demos with Dead. The reason he's loved is for his supposed crazy live stunts, which most metalheads had probably never seen. Dead was great, but people need to stop saying he was the best metal vocalist just because everyone else does.

If you want to hear some studio stuff I would check out the band he was in before Mayhem, Morbid. They released a demo called “December Moon”, his vocals are well captured on that. You can get the compilation album “Year of the Goat” for even more material. His vocals are less brutal and creepier than what you hear in Mayhem. Listen to this and you’ll see he gets all the praise he deserves. RIP Pelle.

17 Corey Taylor Corey Taylor Corey Todd Taylor was born in December 8, 1973. He is an American musician, author, and actor best known as the lead singer and lyricist of the Nu-metal band Slipknot and hard rock/alternative metal band Stone Sour.
18 Robert Plant Robert Plant Robert Anthony Plant is an English musician, singer, and songwriter best known as the lead singer and lyricist of the rock band Led Zeppelin.

He's a rock singer and he has a good voice, but

Ian Gillan
Ronnie James Dio
David Coverdale
Michael Kiske and Joe Lynn Turner beats him... - somekindofaguy

19 Till Lindemann Till Lindemann
20 James Hetfield James Hetfield James Alan Hetfield was born on August 3, 1963. He is an American musician, singer and songwriter known for being the co-founder, lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter for the American heavy metal band Metallica.

If Kirk Hammett is on top 9, then he should be at least 100 place lower than him. He isn't really overrated. I know his vocal skills isn't that much good like many other metal singers. But I like his voice. - zxm

Great rhythm guitarist and songwriter but not a very good singer.

Your not suppose to be a good singer in Thrash metal, that is not what thrash metal is about - germshep24
