I have a friend who likes the books (by the way, BURN THEM WITH FIRE TOO) and even she agrees the movies suck.

Twilight is awful in every way. How you can compare this to anything above bad is beyond me.

It was based off the snow queen, and it wasn't horrible but after a while it got boring, but the fanbase kept pushing and pushing it, until it became overrated. The only reason people like it is because the lack of "prince saves princess".

This should be like number 1! A year or more has past and people are still crazy about it.

On IDMB it got 5.9/10...it should have gotten 0/10. No one could act, the storyline was nothing like the book. Christopher Columbus (the director) was pretty much inventing his own storyline, no Clarrise, Areis, Kronos, Mr. D, Grover lost all charecter development and became comic relief. I'm not sure how they are going to make the next movie considering Grover isn't going on his quest, Clarrise, who becomes important is non existent, and Luke already died. They took every character and dried them up into one dimensional charecters.

I hate Twilight, but the movies do have an excuse because the books are terrible... Being a staunch Percy Jackson fan, this movie made me want to jump from my balcony

I wonder if they had a cheap budget for this film because it absolutely sucked.

I hated that they stopped the movies before Nico Di Angelo and the Romans...then it would been better

Super cheesy and dumb

Sure, Jim Carrey has some funny lines in there, but the voice is annoying,the whos are terrifying, they extend the run time while trying to keep the moral intact, which is very hard to do, so anyone short of Disney could barely do it. If you have any real taste, just watch the original 26 minute T.V. special.Thatone was well-animated, kept the moral intact, had a great song in it, and was overall a better use of your Christmas time.

A good Christmas tale, but other than that it's pretty bland.
