Most Overrated Sesame Street Characters

The Top Ten
1 Elmo Elmo is a Muppet character on the children's television show Sesame Street. He is a furry red monster with a falsetto voice, who hosts the last full fifteen-minute segment on Sesame Street, "Elmo's World", which is aimed at toddlers.

I do like Elmo, but he is so oversaturated. Plus, his "Tickle Me Elmo" doll led to Sesame Workshop becoming greedy, which in turn, led them to support the horrible company called Autism Speaks [please research it, they do more harm to autistic people then good].

When I was a kid, Elmo never existed, all of a sudden he's too overrated.

Stop Being Rude To Elmo!

2 Big Bird Big Bird is the main protagonist of the children's television show Sesame Street. Officially performed by Caroll Spinney (1969-2015), Daniel Seagren (1969-1970) and Matt Vogel (since 1998), and voiced by Carroll Spinney (1969-2018) and Matt Vogel (since 2002).
3 Cookie Monster Cookie Monster is a Muppet on the long-running children's television show Sesame Street. He is best known for his voracious appetite and his famous eating phrases, such as "Me want cookie!" "Me eat cookie!" and "Om nom nom nom".

Should be first.
