Look at everything she has done, not just in art, but also socially. She has a huge impact, and adds meaningful messages into her songs sometimes. Look at her standing up for gay rights, wrote "Ronan", against bullying, goes to hospitals, donates to charity, she's a nice person! She is not "overrated", but half of the attention comes from haters, whining about her many boyfriends, breakups, and saying she can't sing. Look at, for example, Drake. He has had countless girlfriends, and no one criticizes him for that. Also, Adele writes about breakups too, why does no one criticize her? And, she can sing, yeah she's no opera singer, but hear her live concerts, and she can sing fine enough.

I know commenting on this is exacerbating the problem I'm complaining about, but why is she even on this list? As a singer, she's ridiculously underrated, but she has 2 songs (Royals, Team) that are "overrated". Chances are you haven't heard "Ribs", "A World Alone", "Buzzcut Season", or "White Teeth Teens" if you think she's overrated. Her songwriting chops are too good to even have her be mentioned on this list.
Love her music to death, one of the best of the current generation, however most of her live performances are underwhelming to terrible and her music videos are boring and weird, not mention her art style sucks but other than that, she keeps it about the music and I admire that
