South Park characters that get too much attention. These characters aren't bad but they do overshadow over South Park characters.

1 Butters Stotch Leopold "Butters" Stotch is a fictional character in the animated television series South Park. He is voiced by series co-creator Matt Stone and loosely based on co-producer Eric Stough.

There was a time where he was underrated but like Luigi he quickly became overrated.

2 Mr. Mackey Mr. Mackey is a recurring character in the animated adult television series South Park. He is the guidance counselor at South Park Elementary, best known for saying "m'kay" at the end of most of his sentences. He also serves on the City Council as head of Public Health.
3 Craig Tucker Craig Tucker is a fictional character in the animated television series South Park and is a member of the boys' fourth grade class. Craig's most distinguishing physical feature is his blue chullo hat topped with a yellow puffball. One of his traits is his compulsive tendency to flip people off, usually for no discernible reason.

Not trying to sound homophobic but why do you fangirls care so much about a Fourth grader’s sexuality. Not to mention that Craig has no personality in the recent episodes.

4 Clyde Donovan

Clyde is a good character but he barely even cries

5 Kyle Broflovski Kyle Broflovski is a main character in the animated television series South Park. He is voiced by and loosely based on co-creator Matt Stone.

He’s a good character but his fangirls suck. They hate on Cartman and all of the girl characters including Rebecca for the dumbest reasons.

6 Randy Marsh Randy Marsh is a fictional character in the animated television series South Park. He is the son of Marvin and Grandma Marsh, the half-brother of Jimbo Kern, the husband of Sharon, and the father of Stan and Shelly. He first appeared in the Season One episode, "Volcano", and is voiced by Trey Parker.

The 2nd most overrated South Park character in all of existence.

Eric does everything. Who should take over for a cop that can't read? Why not a 4th grader, Eric? Someone should be a NASCAR driver. Why not a 4th grader, Eric? Someone needs to be mentally retarted. Why not a 4th grader, Eric?

He's decent but not the best character in the show.

He's overrated but funny.

8 Timmy Burch Timmy Burch, a wheelchair-using character with a cognitive disability on the TV series South Park. He is a loved vocalist for the band Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld but has drawn criticism due to his inability to form coherent sentences caused by his disability. It is revealed in Season 21 Episode 8 Moss Piglets that Timmy appears to be quite intelligent, with him and his lab partner and friend Jimmy teaching waterbears how to dance.

One of the most overrated South Park characters definitely top 5 worthy.

9 Mr. Garrison Herbert Garrison is a recurring character in the American animated television series South Park. He is voiced by Trey Parker.

Funny but gets more attention then needed.

10 Tweek Tweak Tweek Tweak is a recurring character in the animated adult television series South Park and is a student at South Park Elementary. He drinks lots of coffee, which causes paranoia and jittery muscle spasms. He made his first appearance in the Season Two episode, "Gnomes".

Tweek isn't that annoying he's just anxious, he's just normal him and just acting like himself. Coffee isn't really good for kids tho. I'm not hating on this dude he's just a bit underatted.

He only gets at least 5 minutes of screen time in episodes and the fandom worships him.

Extremely annoying character, why does everyone love him?

He is physically disabled, requiring forearm crutches in order to walk. His disability is confirmed to be cerebral palsy but it is also rumoured to be muscular dystrophy.

He's somewhat overrated.

12 Ike Broflovski Ike Broflovski is a recurring character in the animated adult television series South Park. Ike is Kyle Broflovski's adopted little brother from Canada.

13 Kenny McCormick Kenneth "Kenny" McCormick is a main character in the animated adult television series South Park, along with his friends Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, and Eric Cartman.

Why isn't he higher? Kenny is everyone's favorite character?

14 Wendy Testaburger Winifred "Wendy" Testaburger is a fictional character in the animated television series South Park. She is best known for her on-again, off-again relationship with her boyfriend Stan Marsh, and being more intelligent and mature than most children her age, which is utilized by her activism and feminism.

How is she overrated? Almost everyone but me hates her and she never gets any screen time

Most possibly overrated as Randy Marsh.

15 Pip Pirrup Philip "Pip" Pirrup was a recurring protagonist in the American animated sitcom, South Park. He was an often mistreated, awkward English orphaned exchange 4th Grade student, who was heavily based on the protagonist with a similar name from Charles Dickens' novel, Great Expectations. He was voiced by Matt Stone and first appeared in the Unaired Pilot before making his official series debut in the Season One episode, "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe". He was a major character in the early seasons, but was written out of the show and then killed off in "201".
16 Towelie Towelie is a recurring character in the animated adult television series South Park. Towelie is a talking towel who was genetically engineered by Tynacorp, in order to allow him to make people as dry as necessary depending on the situation. He is usually seen either appearing out of nowhere to give towel advice to the citizens of South Park or getting high.

Not as overrated as other characters.
