Top 10 Overrated Video Game and Movie Characters

This is my actual final top 10, I've had enough... quite frankly the outcome of this list won't surprise me. Well here are the most overrated Video Game and Movie characters ever convinced.

1 Super Mario Mario, originally named Jumpman, is the main character of the Super Mario Bros. franchise, created by the creative director and video game designer at Nintendo of Japan, Shigeru Miyamoto. Mario has appeared in almost every Mario game, including games in spin-off series as a playable character, with few exceptions including New Super Luigi U, Luigi's Mansion games, Yoshi's Island games, and similar counterparts. He is the most iconic character in video game history and is Nintendo's unofficial mascot. His franchise has grown to be the most successful video game franchise of all time.

Bland design, annoying voice and no personality. He only gets a free pass because he happens to star in a bunch of great games.

3 Spock Spock is a fictional character in the Star Trek media franchise. Spock was first portrayed by Leonard Nimoy in the original Star Trek series.
4 Scorpion - Mortal Kombat Scorpion is a recurring player character and occasional boss character from the Mortal Kombat fighting game franchise created by Ed Boon and John Tobias. His debut is in the first Mortal Kombat game.
5 Katniss Everdeen Katniss Everdeen is a fictional character and the protagonist of The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. She is portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence in the film adaptation franchise.
6 Sonic the Hedgehog Sonic the Hedgehog, trademarked Sonic The Hedgehog, is the title character and protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series released by SEGA, as well as numerous spin-off comics, five animated shows, and an animated OVA.
7 Harry Potter Harry James Potter is the title character of J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. The majority of the books' plot covers seven years in the life of the orphan Potter, who, on his eleventh birthday, learns he is a wizard.
8 Spyro the Dragon Spyro the Dragon is the titular main character and protagonist of the Spyro video game series, including The Legend of Spyro.
9 Alphys - Undertale Alphys is an adorably dorky, lab-coat-wearing, bespectacled, yellow-skinned lizard scientist who resides in her lab in Hotland in the critically acclaimed cult classic RPG known as Undertale, wherein she partakes in the daily act of watching insane amounts of anime and having a vast majority of the game's plot-related spoilers attached to her. Plot twists aside, however, she is also well known for creating the fabulous entertainment robot Mettaton, as well as having a massive crush on a young fish woman named Undyne, thus creating one of the most beloved lesbian couples in fiction.
10 Cloud - Final Fantasy VII Cloud Strife, more commonly known as simply "Cloud", is a fictional video game character, the main protagonist of Square's video game Final Fantasy VII, which is a role playing game released in 1997. He also is the main protagonist of the high-definition version, as well as many of its sequels and spinoffs. He was introduced as a mercenary imployed by the ECO-Terrorist group AVALANCHE, but eventually evolves into an unlikely hero. His notable features are his spiky blond hair, his muscular physique, and his huge and powerful sword, the Buster Sword, normally found resting over his shoulders.

A mascot of the Pokemon franchise, it's considered to be the most iconic character of all Pokemon species, as well as a major character in Japanese pop culture, due to its companionship with Ash Ketchum in the anime series. Pikachu has been featured in movies such as Pokemon Detective Pikachu as well as music videos - most notably Katy Perry's "Electric" in 2021.

Mettaton is a popular character in the fanbase. His notable features include his legs, and his catchphrase "OH YESSSS!"
