Top 10 Most Overrated WWE Hell in a Cell Matches
For this list we will be looking at the most overrated Hell in a Cell matches in WWE and as always not saying that most of this matches are bad just get way more praised then they deserve.Billed as 'The End of an Era" which was a total lie, not the best match between the two but still good.
Hhh did a good job still at the undertaker harry second race
The most famous and most over talked hell in a cell match with the image of Foley being thrown off the cell and crashing through the table has been replayed to death.
This Match isn't A Match it's a Spot Fest, Basically
No one talks about the match itself
Why is this at #4?
A good match but went on way too long almost going a full hour.
I liked this match but I agree it was too long.
Possibly the biggest hell in a cell match consisting 6 of WWE's top superstars and as expected it was as Jim Ross would say a real slobber knocker but it also made it hard to focus on what's going on with so many superstars in the cell at the same time before McMhaon broke off the cell door allowing them to brawl on the outside which kind of defeats the purpose of the cell.
How do you say, one match show
Overrated mostly due to the fact that this was built to be Mick Foley's retirement match Foley of course lost after being dropped and send crashing through the cell breaking the ring and Triple H hitting the pedigree for the win and as Foley was leaving the fans gave him a standing ovation but all that became meaningless as Foley would get put in the main event at WrestleMania 2000 where he competed in a fatal four way match for the WWE title
Could have been an excellent match, had the angle of Sasha being injured not taken so long and the botches been less noticeable. Still a good match but not quite on the level of Owens-Rollins
I would say it is underrated, it was only hyped because it was the first women HIAC match no one thought it would actually be good
The first women's hell in a cell match though okay it really didn't live up to the hype.
The match was decent although CM Punk should have won the match instead of Alberto Del Rio, and the match was almost completely overshadowed by what happened after the match with Miz and R-Truth coming out from under the ring attacking everyone while the hell for what ever reason came down as Triple H and the superstars disparately tried to break in.
Can understand this one it is always put as the tenth best HIAC match in the list I've seen, it has the star power
A good match that was ruined by a terrible finish after both men knocked each other out for a ridicules amount of time before Seth Rollins, Dean Ambroes, Dolph Ziggler and Drew Macintire got involved and Ziggler and Rollins fell off the cell crashing through the table before Brock Lesnar for no reason came out and broke the door open F-5'd both men causing the referee to call the match a no contest which is stupid as it's a hell in a cell match there is no excuse for this, they should have made them finish the match at the very least have Roman or Braun slowly make a cover.
The great hell in a cell match
John Cena is terrible
Possibly Kevin Nash's best match of 2003 which isn't saying much as expected the match was a bit sloppy and Mick Foley being brought in just to take a nasty bump and make the match a little more interesting, not the best Hell in a Cell match but not the worst.
The match itself was terrible was only remembered for Shane jumping off the cell and Taker moving away at the last second even though it was clear Shane was going to miss.
Anything match with a non wrestler is going to be overrated
