Top 10 Pagan Inspirations in the Lord of the Rings

I would argue that The Lord of the Rings is a Christian story set in a Pagan world (you can tell it's Christian because of the good vs. evil theme which is not a Pagan thing).
The Top Ten
1 The One Ring (based on Andvari's Ring from Norse mythology)
2 Elves (ancestral spirits and messengers of the deities)
3 The White Tree of Minas Tirith (tree worship)
4 Moria (from a Scandinavian fairy tale, "Soria Moria Castle")
5 Goblins/Orcs (Christian perversion of Pagan Ancestral cult)
6 Smaug (Fafnir)
7 Riders of Rohan (pre-Christian Anglo-Saxons and Goths)
8 Sauron as an eye (Oden's one eye)
9 Dundlendings (Celts)
10 Dwarven runes (based on real world Germanic runes)
