The Top Ten Pairs of Singers with the Most Similar Voices
The lead singer of The Cranberries has a really similar singing style to Shakira, and sometimes you can't tell much of a difference except for the genre.
"Zombie" by The Cranberries
"Underneath Your Clothes" by Shakira - Martin_Canine
One sings English and the other one sings Italian, but both have a very nasal voice that sounds pretty similar.
"In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins
"I Belong To You" by Eros Ramazotti - Martin_Canine
Similar but not exactly the same. Anastacia's voice is more gutteral than Tina's. BOTH powerful voices. I LOVE them BOTH!
Both have very powerful singing voice that often sounds like there is much pressure on the throat (I'm sure there's a professional term for that)
"Paid My Dues" by Anastacia
"We Don't Need Another Hero" by Tina Turner - Martin_Canine
Woah I had no idea they sounded similar until you mentioned it, now I realise it interesting. - PageEmperor
When I first heard "Say You Won't Let Go" I was like wow, I never heard this Khalid song before! Turned out it was James Arthur lol. - DaWyteNight
I swear to God! The similarities between their voices are unbelievable. - DaWyteNight
I swear to God! These two sound so similar it's ridiculous! If I didn't know any better, I'd think that maybe Jason Derulo was making trap-ish r&b music under a different name just to mess with us all. I mean, if you put these two in a room together you probably couldn't tell their voices apart. Same tone, same runs, same high notes, same abuse of auto-tune, Eric's voice might be a bit higher than Jason's but that's about it. - DaWyteNight
The two lead vocalists (singers and rappers) of DatAdam have extremely similar voices.
On the song "Hydra 3D" by DatAdam, verse 1 is by Taddl and verse 2 by Ardy, but I couldn't tell who is who if I wouldn't know. - Martin_Canine
Also similar genre and both great lyricists.
"Crucify Your Mind" by Rodriguez
"Times They Are A-Changing" by Bob Dylan - Martin_Canine
German jazz singer Annette Louisan and leas singer of German alternative pop band Wir sind Helden Judith Holofernes both have very high pitched and soft vocals.
"Torsten Schmidt" by Annett Louisan
"Gekommen um zu bleiben" by Wir sind Helden - Martin_Canine
Maybe due to them singing the same genre, but former Nightwish singer Anette Olzon and Beyond the Black singer Jennifer Haben sound pretty similar to me. Both have unusually pop-rockish vocals for symphonic metal.
"Amaranth" by Nightwish
"Written in Blood" by Beyond the Black - Martin_Canine
This one isn't as similar as the others on this list, but they can still sound kind of similar at times. - DaWyteNight
Before Bill Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel had his puberty voice change, he sounded a lot like female German rock singer LaFee.
"Durch den Monsun" by Tokio Hotel
"Prinzesschen" by LaFee - Martin_Canine
On Kelly's first 1-2 albums he sounded a lot like Aaron, but not after that. - DaWyteNight
Tank's voice is slightly better in my opinion - DaWyteNight
I would say Urie has more of a broad voice and higher pitched, Stump can be very quiet
And what's even weirder is that they both love long song titles. I swear that I thought "I Slept With Someone In Fall Out Boy And All I Got Was This Stupid Song Written About Me" was the longest song title ever - that is, until I heard a song with 91 words in it's title - oneshot
Maybe it is due to me not actively listening to RnB, but most contrmporary RnB singers sound extremely similar to me, especially Taio Cruz and Chris Brown.
"Dynamite" by Taio Cruz
"Right by My Side" by Nicki Minaj & Chris Brown - Martin_Canine
I think neither has a very distinctive voice in their recordings due to overuse of Auto Tune I have not heard many songs by Taio Cruz (Dynamite and Break Your Heart) though. Maybe their unedited voices are quite different. - Powell
Check out these cover versions of Coverdale songs and be convinced:
Jorn - Stormbringer, Burn (Deep Purple covers)
Jorn - Fool for your loving (Whitesnake cover) - Metal_Treasure
They have very similar sounding voices, but Chante has a far bigger range than Janet. - DaWyteNight
I've seen/heard him in concert, first as the lead singer of Queen's official tribute band, Queen Extravaganza & secondly as lead singer of his own Queen tribute band, The Ultimate Queen Celebration... and he's FANTASTIC! Sure, he'll never be Freddie and he's not trying to take Freddie's place but he's the closest to Freddie you'll ever hear BAR NONE!
Brian May and Roger Taylor CHOSE Marc Martel to be lead singer of the tribute band they created, "Queen Extravaganza" which he did around the globe for a number of years. They also used Marc's voice in their movie "Bohemian Rhapsody". Marc now has his own tribute band, "The Ultimate Queen Celebration".
The voice similarity is striking. If interested, go to the list Best Songs on Marc Martel's Impersonator. Also, in the image is Marc Martel and not Freddie Mercury - yeah, they even look alike. - Metal_Treasure
Still wonder why Marc Martel isn't the new singer of Queen. - Userguy44
Not gonna lie, I thought Hide Away and Don't let me down were by Rihanna. - AlphaQ
When I first heard "Hide Away" on the radio I was like wow, Rihanna's voice has improved! - DaWyteNight
Yes. I kind of see the similarities. Also this list is not letting me add items I want to add Billie Eilish and Lorde but it won't let me. - Powell
They have their similarities in their voices & musical style. - SamanthaRosie
Yeah, Ronnie is a bit lower and has more desperation in his voice, but the overall tone of the Falling in Reverse singer and the Good Charlotte singer are pretty similar.
"The Drug in Me Is You" by Falling in Reverse
"The Chronicles of Life and Death" by Good Charlotte - Martin_Canine
Both are metal singers with great tenor voices. Also, Tobias Sammet singing style was influenced very much by Bruce Dickinson. Tobias Sammet voice always reminds me of Bruce Dickinson.
I even made a list - Top 10 Edguy Songs that Could Be on Iron Maiden Albums - Metal_Treasure
Danzig - Mother, Am I Demon, How The Gods Kill. - Metal_Treasure
Rob Halford of Judas Priest and Ralf Scheepers of Primal Fear - both are metal singers. Halford is Ralf Scheepers' biggest influence and Ralf Scheepers sounds pretty much like his vocal idol:
Scheepers - Before The Dawn (solo album, 2011)
Primal Fear - Strike, Metal Gods (Judas Priest cover). - Metal_Treasure
Stu Block replaced Matt Barlow in Iced Earth. I am pretty sure that Stu Block got the job because his voice sounds similar to Matt's voice. - Metal_Treasure
Brian Johnson of ACDC and Mark Tornillo of Accept. Since everybody knows Brian Johnson and his voice, I am gonna list only Mark Tornillo songs:
Accept - Pandemic, Shades Of Death,Teutonic Terror. - Metal_Treasure
Celso Pacos voice in Celso Paco & Dynamo De Luxe - "A Xinengana Xa Nwampfundla" is similar to Prince Ositos voice in "Africa".
I know very few of Usher's songs, and if it weren't for Shazam I'd still think some of Usher's songs were Jason's
Some people actually thought that "On the Wings of Love" was by Peabo because of how similar their voices sound. - DaWyteNight
If interested, go to the list Top 10 Edguy Songs that Could Be on Iron Maiden Albums - Metal_Treasure
Post malone sounds like justin bieber pitched down - purple8
I think both are close, but Cardi B's rapping is worse than Nicki Minaj's. They sound similar, though. - NickelodeonYesAddminNo
