Playing 4 years for John Wooden like Walton did is almost like cheating compared to the poor fundamentals today's players have.

Thing is, playing for John Wooden, as great as it was, was not playing in the NBA, which this list is about. While Walton was extremely talented and effective during his playing in the NBA, his time and games were very short and limited due to injuries which prematurely curtailed anything near a lengthy career.
