The Top Ten

1 Lion Lion The lion is one of the big cats in the genus Panthera and a member of the family Felidae. The commonly used term African lion collectively denotes the several subspecies in Africa.
2 Phoenix Phoenix

Albus Dumbledore's Patronus. Phoenixes are awesome. These immortal fire birds are my favourite animals. - Goku02

Best so far - Cyclne

I love the mythos about the phoenix and how it rises from its ashes. It's such a powerful symbol and a very unique patronus to have. But then Dumbledore was a very unique wizard. But I really enjoy the story about the mouse patronus. The man who had this mouse patronus was thought of as "weak" and laughed at because it was so small but his patronus ended up beating the dementors that plagued his village when all the other "strong" patronus failed. So he was proclaimed the hero and his small lil mouse patronus hailed as the strongest. It just goes to show you that it doesn't matter what form your patronus takes but the feeling and strength of will behind it. (Rowling wrote this story as an article on Pottermore in case anyone wants to read it or check it out on the Harry Potter wikia page.) - NerdBunny

3 Eagle Eagle Eagle is a common name for many large birds of prey of the family Accipitridae; it belongs to several groups of genera that are not necessarily closely related to each other. Eagles are also one of America's national symbols.
4 Dog Dog The domestic dog is a wolf-like canid in the genus Canis, and is the most widely abundant terrestrial carnivore.
5 Elephant Elephant

I love elaphants

6 Shark Shark Sharks are a group of fish characterized by a cartilaginous skeleton, five to seven gill slits on the sides of the head, and pectoral fins that are not fused to the head. Sharks have been around before the earth's first dinosaurs and even the earth's first trees.
7 Falcon Falcon
8 Dolphin Dolphin Dolphins are a widely distributed and diverse group of fully aquatic marine mammals. They are an informal grouping within the order Cetacea, excluding whales and porpoises, so to zoologists the grouping is paraphyletic.

Strongest patronous

9 Giraffe Giraffe The giraffe is an African even-toed ungulate mammal, the tallest living terrestrial animal and the largest ruminant.
10 Dragons Dragons A dragon is a legendary creature, typically with serpentine or reptilian traits, that features in the myths of many cultures.

Dragons are giant winged, fire -breathing reptiles. Widely regarded as terrifying yet awe-inspiring, they can be found all over the world and are frequently referred to in Asian and medieval European folklore.

Literally possibly the most badass thing out there, so beautiful yet so feared and powerful. It’s inspring

The Contenders

11 Wolf Wolf Often in/from packs, Wolves are carnivorous Canines that come in various colours and breeds, and have evolved to Dogs. Some breeds of Wolves are, like Dogs, domesticated, to become a Working Dog.

Wolves are brave, intelligent and brave.

12 Lynx Lynx A lynx is any of the four species within the Lynx genus of medium-sized wild cats, which includes the bobcat.
13 Cat Cat The "House Cat", also known as the Domestic Cat or the Feral Cat, is a small feline, a good hunter, and comes in a variety of colours and fur patterns. Contrary to popular belief, however, they are not truly domesticated.

Love it. Sometimes I wish this was my patronus, but I’m happy with my otter. - Hermione_Granger220

18 Orca Orca The killer whale or orca is a toothed whale belonging to the oceanic dolphin family, of which it is the largest member.

The killer whale or orca ( Orcinus orca) is a toothed whale belonging to the oceanic dolphin family, of which it is the largest member. Killer whales have a diverse diet, although individual populations often specialize in particular types of prey. Some feed exclusively on fish, while others hunt marine mammals such as seals and dolphins. They have been known to attack baleen whale calves, and even adult whales. Killer whales are apex predators, as there is no animal that preys on them. Killer whales are considered a cosmopolitan species, and can be found in each of the world's oceans in a variety of marine environments, from Arctic and Antarctic regions to tropical seas.

19 Black Mamba Black Mamba
20 Rat Rat Rats are various medium-sized, long-tailed rodents of the superfamily Muroidea. "True rats" are members of the genus Rattus, the most important of which to humans are the black rat, Rattus rattus, and the brown rat, Rattus norvegicus.
21 Peafowl
22 Occamy
23 Fish
24 Stag

The best patronus. Harry and James had their patronus as stag. It represents courage and strength

25 Hippogriff Hippogriff

This is my patronus on Pottermore - CloudytheLeopard

26 Mink

Minks are so cute. I got it in pottermore.

27 Boar

In China, the boar is a symbol of strength and virility.
To the ancient Celts and Northern Europeans, the boar was a warrior.
Wild boars are mainly independent creatures, preferring to be by themselves rather than in a pack.
A boar challenges its opponents with its posture. If the boar can overpower its opponent with a simple push, violence is spared and there will be no fight.
However, if the opponent can not be overpowered so simply, a fight will ensue. A boar is strong, powerful, athletic, and relentless. When they have to fight, they are ferocious. They jab their opponent with their tusks. If need be, they will fight to the death to protect what is theirs.
A wild boar can weigh up to 200+ pounds, but many can weigh much more.
In conclusion, you do not want to start a fight with a wild boar!

28 Otter Otter Otters are carnivorous mammals in the subfamily Lutrinae. The 13 extant otter species are all semiaquatic, aquatic or marine, with diets based on fish and invertebrates.

Why wasn’t this already on there? This is my patronus. I’m offended. - Hermione_Granger220
