Top Ten Animals and Mythical Creatures to Have as a Patronus

If you haven't seen or read Harry Potter, you won't know that a Patronus is essentially a spirit guardian which exists in animal form, and is a wizard's strongest line of defense. Its form represents what you identify with in positive spirit, and is thus a topic worth debating.
The Top Ten
1 Dragon A dragon is a legendary creature, typically with serpentine or reptilian traits, that features in the myths of many cultures.

Dragons are giant winged, fire -breathing reptiles. Widely regarded as terrifying yet awe-inspiring, they can be found all over the world and are frequently referred to in Asian and medieval European folklore.

Naturally a meat eating, destroyer, loot stealer to keep it in a den, kidnapper of princess, everything you don't want.

I'm pretty sure my Patronus would be a dragon. A naturally intelligent, wild and energetic creature.

2 Phoenix A mythical bird from Greek mythology, the Phoenix is said to burst into flames upon death and be reborn from its ashes. Often associated with themes of rebirth and immortality, it is traditionally depicted as a large, colorful bird with a melodious song.

I love the mythos about the phoenix and how it rises from its ashes. It's such a powerful symbol and a very unique patronus to have. But then Dumbledore was a very unique wizard. But I really enjoy the story about the mouse patronus. The man who had this mouse patronus was thought of as "weak" and laughed at because it was so small, but his patronus ended up beating the dementors that plagued his village when all the other "strong" patronus failed. So he was proclaimed the hero, and his small little mouse patronus hailed as the strongest. It just goes to show you that it doesn't matter what form your patronus takes, but the feeling and strength of will behind it. (Rowling wrote this story as an article on Pottermore in case anyone wants to read it or check it out on the Harry Potter Wikia page.)

3 Dog The dog or domestic dog (Canis familiaris or Canis lupus familiaris) is a domesticated descendant of the wolf, and is characterized by an upturning tail. I would get a Shiba Inu because they protect their owners so if my overprotective mom or relatives sees me walking with other dogs nearby I can trust my shiba to reassure them that the other dogs will not harm us.

Dogs deserve to be the third place as a Patronus because they are loyal and protective. My Patronus is actually a Bernese Mountain Dog!

Probably a bit biased as a husky is my Patronus, but still!

4 Hawk Hawks are a group of medium-sized diurnal birds of prey of the family Accipitridae which are widely distributed and varying greatly in size.

My online namesake is a hawk. And you all know I'm perceptive and powerful.

The Pegasus represents pride and majesty, which is why it's a perfect Patronus. The Pegasus is a loyal creature that is not defeated easily. It's a perfect beast to have under your power.

I would love for my Patronus to be a pegasus. Majestic and graceful creatures, if they existed.

I try to see online exam telling that what is you patronus and I got pegasus... I think so..

6 Eagle Eagle is the common name for many large birds of prey of the family Accipitridae. Eagles belong to several groups of genera, some of which are closely related. Votin for owls just because there are lots of owls in Harry Potter.

The snake may have some dark connotations in the Harry Potter series, but the snake has its positive attributes. For one thing, I have a thing for snakes.

This is what I got in Pottermore. According to some site:
