She is the one who created the dragon radar that everyone relied on and she opened her house to the Namekians after their homeworld got destroyed and she managed to tame Vegeta (well, to an extent). She actually contributed a lot more than what she gets credit for and I think she is by far the biggest unsung hero of Dragonball.
