The most courageous and large hearted human to ever walk this planet. 3 Mahatma Gandhi Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was the preeminent leader of the Indian independence movement in British-ruled India.

Martin Luther King saved a quarter of the US. Gandhi saved the ENTIRE nation of India which itself is more than 3 times the population of the US today. Martin Luther King may have been a great man but there is only one reason he is the highest on this list and also the only reason all of these silly US presidents are on this list at all. Simply stupid Americans thinking they and their history are more important than everyone else's.

Mahatma Gandhi was an awesome person, and was a legend! Whoever is responsible for his death (he died of murder), I'm gonna force you to listen to Justin Bieber's Baby and watch Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners!

Sure John Lennon is a great inspiration but how the hell is he above Gandhi? Gandhi is a hero.

No doubt.. He is and will be the number 1.. No matter who is in conpetetion, you can't deny that he is the true inventor of peace and non- voilence.

Nobody except 12-year olds thinks that Ford "invented" the car, but what he DID do was invent a way to mass-produce them, making them readily available and easily affordable to nearly everyone.
