The Top Ten
1 Amelia Earhart Amelia Mary Earhart was an American aviation pioneer and author. Earhart was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She received the United States Distinguished Flying Cross for this accomplishment.

There have been many, many rumors about her survival. Whether any of them are actually true, we may never know.

Possibly the most well-known disappearance.

Her body was eventually found.

I accidently added her again

2 D.B. Cooper
3 Bobby Fischer

The youngest man to become the world champion of chess, he soon after disappeared from society.

If you're talking about the chess player, he didn't disappear. He immigrated to Iceland and died in a hospital. It's not a case of "disappeared and was never found" and he shouldn't be on this list.
"On January 17, 2008, Fischer died from renal failure at the Landspítali Hospital (National University Hospital of Iceland) in Reykjavík."

4 Morgan Nick
5 Richey Edwards Richard James "Richey" Edwards was a Welsh musician who was the lyricist and rhythm guitarist of the alternative rock band Manic Street Preachers.

Great lyricist, rock icon, tortured soul, member of the 27 Club... Richey was many things, the best word to define him would be "legend".

Who in their right mind would kidnap a 10 month old baby? Or anyone in general?
