1 Beverly Cleary Beverly Atlee Cleary (April 12, 1916 - March 26, 2021) was an American writer of children's and young adult fiction. One of America's most successful authors, 91 million copies of her books have been sold worldwide since her first book was published in 1950. Some of Cleary's best known characters are Henry Huggins and his dog Ribsy, Ramona Quimby and Beezus Quimby, and Ralph S. Mouse.

2 Gene Wilder Jerome Silberman, known professionally as Gene Wilder, is an American stage and screen comic actor, screenwriter, and author. Wilder began his career on stage, and made his screen debut in the TV-series Armstrong Circle Theatre in 1962. On August 28th 2016, Wilder died due to complications with Alzheimer's disease at the age of 83.
