'The Jackie Effect'... haha! I don't think so. Fanatical fans with delusions of grandeur!
In my opinion the most beautiful piece Jackie has ever performed. Check out the YouTube video of her live performance on The View with Sharon Osborne - breathtaking! - BobG
Gives me a chill and makes me weep every time!
The most BORING version I've ever heard!
This isn't a song for a little girl or teenage girl to sing. It requires a full-bodied, robust, mature & experienced MALE OPERATIC VOICE to sing it. She should stick to songs that do her voice justice.
Yes, this is the one that gives me chills every time. Her most astounding rendition of this is from her appearance as a guest on "Britain's Got Talent" found on YouTube. - BobG
Nessun Dorma does it for me.
Her delivery as a 10-12 year old was pitch perfect. This song still meets as world-class, but what would Nessum Dorma sound like he she sang today?
I remember when I saw and heard this on Americas Got Talent.
I had to sit down. Most amazing performance, unearthly, incredible.
This is probably the BEST of many songs Jackie sings in regards to the Jackie Effect, but a close second (very, very close) has got to be O Mio Babbino Caro from a talent contest when she was around 8 years old.
Se is so smooth, the emotions sneak up on you. Just listening and enjoying, then wham!
The number she opened with at her very first "full" concert; at Houston in February of 2011.
She stunned the audience from the very beginning, and hasn't stopped ever since!
The final line 'your voice still echos in my heart' always affects me.
Her interpretation is spot on.
Sure looks like an angel. - HezarioSeth
Have to go all the way back to "Dream With Me - in Concert" for this one. It's just a wave of beautiful vocals that washes over you, combined with the image of Jackie in baroque era costume, taking you to a different time and place." - BobG
This song gives me goosebumps.
When she sang this in her Thousand Oaks concert, I almost had to get up and go stand in the corridor...
When you see a little child watching her on T.V. he isn't looking or listening to her he is still a child and recognizes an angle when when we can't
A tear-jerker of the first water!
The effect began just at age 8!
From her first CD, "Prelude to a Dream"
Probably the best version of that song that I've ever heard.
I wish the composer of the song would comment
Haunting, spellbinding, enchanting.. another song now owned by Jackie Evancho..
From "Game of Thrones".
Just look at her at this age. she is is a goddess. angels could take lessons from her thanks for the feelings
Like this so much!
Even though I am not from the USA,
Jackie's version of this makes me feel proud.
She is a master of emotional transference.
A very early treasure form when Jackie was just 9 years old during a performance in Nashville, and recently re-discovered.
I can feel the love every time this little songbird opens those golden pipes, and floods the Earth's atmosphere with her intensely beautiful soprano voice. "Oh, what a feeling! "
