Top 10 Performers from Week 2 of the NFL 2019 Regular Season

The Top Ten
1 Patrick Mahomes Patrick Lavon Mahomes II (born September 17, 1995) is an American football player who is currently a quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League.

Great game last week, does it again this week finding another receiver having a huge game in Demarcus Robinson coming through making the Kansas City offense still as deadly even without Tyreek Hill is there any pace slow downs for the reigning MVP?

2 Russell Wilson Russell Carrington Wilson is an American football quarterback for the Denver Broncos, and formerly for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League.

Wilson just had a calm perfect game setup. Never turned the ball over, and just handled the game perfectly as Pittsburgh’s offense crumbled when Big Ben went out with a bad looking elbow injury Seattle took great advantage on offense boosting their confidence on the road.

3 Desmond Trufant Desmond Trufant is an American football cornerback for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League.

In what was a pretty game of offense by both teams for most of the game. Atlanta’s defense was pretty good in a bounce back after that awful road performance come back home and just shut down Carson Wentz after losing both key Wide receivers Wentz started to slowly get more one dimensional as the game went on making for the games MVP (not named Julio Jones, or Calvin Ridley).

4 Jamie Collins

If you think I was going for anybody on the offense give me a strong reason, because Patriot’s just dominated once again like they did on Sunday Night just gave the Dolphins a donut total. Biggest highlight goes to Jamie Collins make the presence awareness of knowing where fitzpatrick was gonna throw to TWICE with unique ways of getting the football adding insult to injury.

5 Shaquil Barrett

One thing that was the Bucs MVP is not Chris Godwin, but was Shaquil Barrett the former Broncos linebacker was all over Cam Newton’s face in which the offensive line did a terrible job covering for the bad throwing shoulder and proves this might be his final year. Meanwhile the Bucs win on the road meaning the defense shows great signs of not being the slouch that it once was.

6 Aaron Jones

I mean give honorable mention credit to that incredible Packers’s defense staying strong after that big run Dalvin Cook made. The Packers answered right back with Aaron Jones being the finisher tail back crushing the hope outta the Vikings that they from last week.

7 Kenny Golladay

In an ugly slug fest of slow paced offenses the big player that shined through the game was Golladay. Dominated the backup corner for the most part. The only bad thing he did was give Casey Hayward a gifted interception for a touchback, but made up for it big beating him right back down to the endzone with (7 minutes to spare) for a huge win to stay alive in the NFC North.

8 Eddy Pineiro

Yes a kicker, not just any kicker, but the one to put on so much pressure for one second left to make a 53 yard FG something that destroyed Da Bears’s dream meant so much in a very bizarre win for Da Bears ultimately.

The bears finally have a kicker

9 Odell Beckham Odell Beckham Jr. is a NFL wide receiver, playing for the Los Angeles Rams. He is most-known for making an incredible one-handed catch against the Dallas Cowboys. Beckham was drafted 12th overall to the New York Giants.

Late Monday Night was the revenge vendetta for Odell Beckham Vs Gregg Williams saying that he wanted a player to take him out. Well the trash talking is over and Beckham in the end wins this battle standing most tall in what was a must win for the Browns to stay alive in the AFC North race.

That 89 yard TD alone is worthy of him being on the list

Yeah I would go Odell.

10 Jimmy Garoppolo

Nice bounce back from a very poor looking showing in the first game. 49ers offense clicked much better than the first game. Jimmy G looked more like the guy we knew two seasons ago. Maybe I am underrating what looks like an improved defense. Meanwhile, with the help of the running game, Garoppolo ripped right through the passing game pretty handedly almost.

The Contenders
11 Dalvin Cook
12 Demarcus Robinson
