Ht's Analysis: NFL 2019 Week 3 Recap

Thursday Night Football

Tennessee Titans Vs Jacksonville Jaguars: The week started with a game that could have been better that was mainly al Jacksonville right from the start of the game. Adore Jackson fumbles Jaguars score right away. Eventually pulling away as Mariota had trouble to get back in this game thanks to sacksonville grabbing up 8 of them in total.

1:00 Games

Miami Dolphins Vs Dallas Cowboys: 1st Half was actually close a good scare for Dallas to wake up. 2nd Half looked better and just made it to 30 points to keep the winning edge going off to primetime.

Cincinnati Bengals Vs Buffalo Bills: In a battle of animals the Bills live on this time around. Did great in the 1st half, but almost blew at the end with Bengals tried to rally luckily Tre'Davious White put a stop to that.

Detroit Lions Vs Philadelphia Eagles: I was very curious how this game would turn the way it did. Eagles were without two of its key Wide Receivers, and in this game they lost both Left Tackles that’s gotta really hurt for Carson Wentz. They still fought though, but made bad mistakes in the end with two penalties red handed forcing pressure on Wentz to air it out. BIG win by the Lions. Now its time to start believing if the Lions are for real if they can somehow find a way to upset the heavily favored road team. Meanwhile Philapdehia needs to regroup, and look to be hurting once again.

New York Jets Vs New England Patriots: Was it really a surprise? For the most Part Patriots just owned the football for three quarters. Almost let go the gas though when bad special teams came into play maybe the only weakness for this Patriots team otherwise dominante performance.

Atlanta Falcons Vs Indianapolis Colts: Atlanta tried to build off a big win to stay alive in the NFC South. Indianapolis also came off a huge win to stay in the AFC South one of them had to win ultimately. Once again turnovers bit the Falcons and Colts kept on battling to a surprising 2-1 start.

Oakland Raiders Vs Minnesota Vikings: Minnesota coming off a tough loss on the road of course they wanna get that anger and frustration out on Jon Gruden’s bunch. Passing game looked good, Dalvin Cook being Dalvin Cook. Oakland have a rare gem in Darren Waller making a quiet rise, but otherwise not much to show from a mediocre offense. Vikings get the needed and must focus on Da Bears.

Baltimore Ravens vs Kansas City Chiefs: America’s game of the week right here. All eyes were on Patrick Mahomes Vs Lamar Jackson. Two of the most exciting offenses in the game. Ravens struck first but missed a crucial kick early. Than of course Patrick Mahomes turns the lights off on Baltimore in 2nd quarter once again laying down another great showing of play throwing and flinging it down the sideline as always. Having quite a big lead, Lamar Jackson had to find a way to get his team back in the game. He did just that, but came up short thanks to a few two point fails and that missed field resulted in a hard fought, but defeated ultimately.

Denver Broncos Vs Green Bay Packers: Denver did dae the Packers a bit in the 2nd quarter with Phillip Lindsay, but it ended up being put on ice after that it was all Green Bay cruising on to big heights once again with the next three games showcasing that excellent defense some more.

Later Evening Games (4:15)

Carolina Panthers Vs Arizona Cardinals: In one of the more no thank you approached games Carolina actually put up some good numbers on offense, but let’s be clear that was against a team that looked like they were gonna be a bad defense comes to show that tie the Lions took was a secret L so there not really undefeated guy I don’t care what you tell me. Kyle Allen looked good, and Kyler Murray while he started off solid ended up having a bad 2nd half where Donte Jackson was licking major chops with him.

New York Giants Vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Now when Tampa Bay was rolling that great in the 1st half your thinking its over for the Giants especially with Saquon Barkley’s injury changing the whole game hold it right there. 28-10 Bucs have a confirming lead, and all of a sudden here comes Danny Dimes giving the football to his players in quick passes. Engram gets much room to go with. Sterling Shepard and a nobody in Darius Slayton were big late in the game. Its 25-31 Joes needs a touchdown to take the lead his got it runs it himself great awareness however Bucs have just enough time to maybe win this thing. Goes to Mike Evans, probably could of got one more play that could have brought the kicker closer, but other that was ladies and gentleman one of the best debuts for a rookie quarterback I have ever seen. Pulled off a gutsy performance trusting himself in the big moment.

New Orleans Saints Vs Seattle Seahawks: Sure you could give blame because Carroll had a bad warm up coming into this game, but what was that? Chris Carson fumbles, and that led to you losing getting garbage time points? Well that bend break defense of the Saints was big, but not what Seattle was expecting for sure which led to their loss and makes you wonder if there pretending with how they could of been 0-3 if you really think about it.

Houston Texans Vs Los Angeles Chargers: If there is anything we learned in this game you can’t win making mental errors and that’s what the Chargers having been on the losing side of both times now. Even though Keenan Allen looks like the best receiver in football it won’t make a difference if your team is making the big errors in the biggest moments in the game. Gotta say DeShaun Watson is having little problems with what he can do with this offense, and having to have some help from the weapons he has great use for going down for extra downs. Houston’s defense so far ain’t on par quite yet, but will need to improve on that quickly.

Pittsburgh Steelers Vs San Francisco 49ers: Steeles absolutely were owning the 49ers’s offense with big key turnovers that could have, probably should of led to their first win. Instead as the Pittsburgh tries to run some clock James Conner ends fumbling the football. If i’m Pittsburgh let Conner heal his knees they clearly are not 100% as the injury report shows get Jaylen Samuel in there. Meanwhile the 49ers survive and go to a bye week rest well because you got some interesting teams coming up to face that could oppose a loss for you coming.

Sunday Night Football

Los Angeles Rams Vs Cleveland Browns: Night game is Rams and Browns, mostly a defensive played game that ended up with Cleveland making more errors like they did in week 1, but not nearly as bad. Well next no putting the kitchen sink for Mayfield to sink down with a questionable offensive line. Cleveland seems to have a discipline problem that’s for sure. Meanwhile Rams have won two east coast battle on the road which means a lot knowing the west coast teams struggle going across the east more often than the other way around.

Monday Night Football

Chicago Bears Vs Washington Redskins: We end with a game with high stakes for Da Bears than it was for the Redskins. Right away here comes that defense to force takeovers sounds like the from last season only difference I don’t trust your offense with three of those touchdowns coming from one player who got hurt in the game as well. Meanwhile Keenum’s starting job is looking to be in jeopardy when will Dwayne Haskins be taking the field since this season for the Redskins doesn’t look to be going too well.
