Top 10 Performers from Week 8 of the NFL 2018 Regular Season

The Top Ten
1 Deshaun Watson

The best showing goes to the one that calls himself the ''Michael Jordan of the NFL'' the old DeShaun Waston is back, and it was shown on Thursday Night when he slayed the hapless Dolphins as the Texans are now back to what they look to be on preview everybody heath;y much better healthy conditions and all.

Welcome back Old Deshaun. And welcome back Texans. Turns out that 0-3 stumble was just a fluke as this team has picked up steam and whatdya know they’re sitting fine atop the AFC South.

2 Russell Wilson Russell Carrington Wilson is an American football quarterback for the Denver Broncos, and formerly for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League.

Seattle for the most part where just average, but Russell Wilson had won a super bowl before now proving why your a top 5 QB of your position, and what happens? He displays a masterful pitch perfect game to the lions with three touchdowns, and a passer rating of a 158.3.

3 Cam Newton Cameron Jerrell Newton is an American football quarterback for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. He had previously played with the Carolina Panthers from 2011 to 2019, and for the New England Patriots in 2020. In November 2021, he signed with his old team, the Carolina Panthers.

Well how about Cam Newton thus far in 2018, sure Carolina had the defense, but you wouldn't have seen quite the consistent team stay the same as it did last season, and in doing so the swagger is back, and it came by beating the #1 scoring defense this team is rolling thanks to Newton's play making ability being greatly aware of what's around him.

Is it just me or is he showing his 2015 form a little in the last 2 weeks with a comeback vs Philly and a dominant performance against Baltimore?

4 James Conner James Earl Conner is an American football running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He played college football at Pittsburgh, and was drafted by the Steelers in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Sure AB has a great game, but the emerging star answers back from the critics by having back to back to back two touchdowns games the last three weeks. So now should we call the Steelers offense the The Double B's + C?

I thought Bell being absent would cause a problem but this guy has proved me wrong. He’s been doing just fine replacing Bell who has yet to reappear

5 Adrian Peterson Adrian Lewis Peterson is an American football running back who originally played for the Minnesota Vikings and currently plays for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League.

Well the key for the Redskins offense we have found out comes down to the ageing legend of the game Adrian Peterson saying his not done quite yet. Bursting finally towards the 2nd half escape with the much needed win.

6 Dee Ford

With the injuries of Eric Berry and Justin Houston you had to imagine it was gonna be tough to stop any offense, but the Chiefs have defied many week in and week out especially more less on the defense we know their offense is playing incredible football, but if everybody is healthy on that defense could it led to a home field advantage scenario?

7 Larry Fitzgerald Larry Darnell Fitzgerald Jr. is an American football wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. Fitzgerald was drafted 3rd overall to the Arizona Cardinals in 2004, he is considered to be one of the best players of his position to never win a Super Bowl.

David Johnson didn't exactly get that involved as Leftwich had hoped but luckily Rosen realized that a hall of famer was open and took advantage.

8 Sheldon Rankins

Kirk Cousins felt the wrath of a very young Saints front four that applied a ton of pressure that was the big key to the Saints revenge coming out of their turf with that graceful W with help from rookie Marcus Davenport picking up the pace.

9 Tarik Cohen

For the most part Bears and Jets was a very soso game, and one big highlight was the speedy Cohen who has had a quietly good season for a second year player behind Jordan Howard.

10 Randy Bullock

Sure Boyd, and Mixon had great games, but it all cam down to Bullock and the game saving kick where they could have possibly been upset if that kicked did not land successfully.
